The Bachelor of Arts in Sport and Recreation Administration degree program is designed to develop skills preparatory to leadership and supervisory roles in a variety of sport and leisure service careers, including municipal, outdoor, therapeutic, military, church, youth, commercial/tourism, and industrial agencies and organizations..

Improve the health and quality of life while gaining an understanding of the business and administration of sport and recreation

The Bachelor of Arts in Sport and Recreation Administration degree program prepares students for leadership, direct service, and even supervisory roles in sport franchises, sport tourism, community recreation agencies, or college recreation departments.

The Master of Science in food and nutrition services degree prepares students for doctoral studies in nutrition, food service management, or hospitality management for postsecondary teaching positions, or for careers in established or emerging clinical or industrial settings. The program is designed to provide students with a broad background in nutrition, food service management, or hospitality management; development of necessary analytical skills; and exposure to current nutrition, food service management, and hospitality management research.

A B.A. in biological science can prepare a student for a variety of careers or for graduate work in many fields, including organismal biology, medicine, education, cell or molecular biology, ecology, and conservation biology.

The Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences program at the University of Mississippi fosters the knowledge and skills needed in today's health care environment. Political science majors at the University of Mississippi conduct policy analysis and study political actors and organizations within the context of American government and politics, comparative government and politics, and international relations. The department offers optional emphases in Campaigns & Elections, International Conflict & Cooperation, Politics of Developing Countries, or Law & Courts.

The M.S. in engineering science is offered in a number of emphasis areas: aeroacoustics, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computational hydroscience, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, electromagnetics, environmental engineering, geology, geological engineering, hydrology, mechanical engineering, material science and engineering, and telecommunications.

Emphasis - Electrical Engineering (Electromagnetics)
An M.S. in engineering science with emphasis in electromagnetics prepares a student with advanced technical knowledge and communication skills for pursuing a career in industry, engineering research and development, public service, or for doctoral work.

The Master of Taxation program offers graduate-level accounting education for students who plan to pursue careers in taxation. Students take five required accountancy and taxation courses, two taxation electives, two accountancy electives, and one non-accountancy elective to complete this program. While there are no required data analytics courses, students will gain knowledge of data analytics in some required coursework.

The Master of Criminal Justice (M.C.J.) promotes evidence-based policy and practice and prepares future leaders in the fields of criminal justice, emergency management, and homeland security by conducting relevant, innovative research and offering cutting-edge courses.

The Department of Mathematics offers a B.S. in mathematics for students who wish to pursue graduate training in mathematics or to undertake careers in mathematically oriented professions. The B.S. degree allows the freedom to pursue mathematical depth in areas such as pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, discrete mathematics, mathematics and computer science, or finance and actuarial science.
