The B.A. in classics is an interdisciplinary degree involving the study of ancient Greek and Latin, literature in translation, history, classical archaeology, and art history.

Political science majors at the University of Mississippi conduct policy analysis and study political actors and organizations within the context of American government and politics, comparative government and politics, and international relations. Separate course requirements are given as three concentrations: instrumental, vocal, or keyboard as principal instrument.

Emphasis - Marketing Analytics
The emphasis in marketing analytics focuses on the way data can help make marketing decisions and assess marketing effectiveness. The emphasis includes hands-on experience using industry-standard software for analytical tasks, including preparing and managing data sets, exploring consumer and market data, and predictive modeling.

To study English is to explore the power of texts in expressing human cultures and imaginations and to hone foundational skills in argumentation and analysis through writing and research.

An M.S. in engineering science with emphasis in electromagnetics prepares a student with advanced technical knowledge and communication skills for pursuing a career in industry, engineering research and development, public service, or for doctoral work.

The B.S. in chemistry provides a rigorous foundation in the principal areas of basic chemistry.
