The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentration in Sport Management provides students the opportunity to learn about various elements of the sport industry including media, merchandising, hospitality, facility and event management, and others. Students explore sport management principles, the sociological impact of sport, and ethical theories while learning how these can be applied to address organizational needs across many functional areas related to the business of sports.

Unlike programs that focus on only one aspect of the justice model, such as law enforcement, the SNHU program provides an overview of the justice system, criminal law, corrections systems, legal and social science research, and more.

Students tailor the program according to their career goals. All students take courses in policing and law enforcement, crime and criminology, and law and legal processes. In light of the professional nature of the justice system, students also are encouraged to explore courses in such aligned areas as business, psychology, sociology, information technology, and political science.

Students may complete the program in the traditional four years. In addition, students may also pursue a four-plus-one program in which they earn both the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in five years. Our graduate program is delivered online allowing students to continue their studies while satisfying employment and family duties.

Aligned to the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and informed by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) framework for information technology baccalaureate degree programs, this degree will prepare students for current IT work and provide the skills and dispositions to ready themselves and their organizations for the rapid evolution of future technologies. This concentration provides students with the opportunity to explore areas of marketing, through a business lens, in areas such as market research, social media marketing and communication, and consumer behavior.

Delves into the three major areas of business analytics: descriptive analytics, predictive analytics and prescriptive analytics. You’ll learn how to collect and interpret business data in a spreadsheet environment, communicate findings to stakeholders and execute strategic business decisions. Upon completion of this specialty track, you’ll develop skills that can help prepare you for roles as a management analyst, operations research analyst and budget analyst.
