The Middle Grades Education Program is ideal for students who are eager to work with growing minds and daily changes. When teaching middle grades students, who are discovering who they are and what they want to do with their lives, there is rarely a dull moment in the classroom. The program prepares highly qualified teachers that will earn a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S. Ed.) with a specific subject in 4-8 certification. Supplemental certification may be added in English as a Second Language.

The International Year program is designed especially for international students. It is the first year of study at Baylor University, where students study a combination of English language courses and credit-bearing academic courses. So they can earn credits towards their degree from the beginning.

Management
The Management major helps students enhance communication and problem solving skills.  It is a pre-major.  The major teaches the activities and functions of a business. It also builds leaders adept in planning, organizing, staffing and leading an organization.  Available courses include:

The Asian Studies program provides opportunities for study and research of the diverse societies that inhabit the Asian continent. The program takes as its geographical focus the regions of Eurasia and the Asia-Pacific. Interdisciplinary in approach, the program spans the fields of economics, foreign languages, history, political science, sociology and religion, and is dedicated to providing opportunities for foreign study and field experiences.

Through its major, minor and concentration curricula, the Asian Studies program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation to pursue careers in government services, business, and nongovernmental organizations, as well as for further graduate study.

Biochemistry
The Biochemistry major is designed to provide a firm foundation in biochemistry and prepare students for careers in health-related disciplines, medical research or biotechnology. The Applied Mathematics major focuses on applying math to real-life scenarios and industries. Students learn how to use mathematical concepts for problem-solving and decision making in a variety of environments. Courses include:

The History program at Baylor is for students intrigued by the stories we tell about our past. Political Science is one of the most popular majors for students interested in law school. Baylor's Department of Political Science offers a pre-law track for political science majors. We offer a range of courses that deal with many of the most important issues that lawyers and jurists confront in their careers, from criminal justice, constitutional law, public policy and the courts and international law. Students from any discipline may also choose to pursue a minor in Criminal Justice.

The Finance major is the study of the decision-making process involved in managing and acquiring assets to create a profit. It is a pre-major.  The major offers two focuses, Corporate Finance and Investments. Corporate Finance is the study of research and acquisition of assets for companies. The study of Investments includes the valuing of financial securities and corporate and personal portfolio management. Available courses include:
