The MS in Cybersecurity is intended for students who wish to specialize in the security aspects of the Information Technology field. This program educates professionals for the fast growing and wide ranging information security and cybersecurity markets by providing foundations in the theory of information security as well as knowledge needed to properly design, implement, and manage secured IT infrastructure and risks in an enterprise. Common career areas include Computer Forensics, Incident Response, Network Security Administration, Risk Assessment, and Web Development.

Networking and Infrastructure
The Network Security concentration focuses on the network infrastructure and network security management aspects of information security. This concentration will provide in-depth coverage of network security infrastructure technologies such as firewalls, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), vulnerability assessment tools, as well as overall security infrastructure engineering and design.

DePaul’s Physical Education (P.E.) degree program will prepare you to pursue a career in teaching physical education in schools from kindergarten through high school.

The P.E. program prepares you to teach children in a variety of urban and suburban educational settings, including both public and private elementary and high schools. You’ll learn theoretical principles of education, teaching techniques and curriculum development. Through our physical education degree program, you’ll also participate in field experiences in local schools and student teach in order to gain hands-on experience.

DePaul's Master’s in Artificial Intelligence will prepare you for a successful career in this fast-growing field. You will gain advanced technical skills and a deep understanding of concepts and techniques in artificial intelligence and machine learning to build and support AI empowered systems. Discover how to create complex intelligent systems and integrate AI techniques into existing applications and processes, by exploring relevant technical areas including natural language processing, big data systems, computer vision, image processing, robotics, and cybersecurity.

DePaul’s Bachelor of Arts in Animation program emphasizes the art of animation, creativity, and critical thinking—while encouraging experimentation in form, content and medium—within a broad liberal arts context.

You will learn to draw innovative connections between animation and other subjects of inspiration. To develop your animation skills, you will produce live-action videos, draw web-based shorts inspired by Hollywood or anime, or design motion graphics for film titles and commercials.

DePaul’s master’s in Sociology program is designed to expose you to key sociological methods and theory. Sociologists explore areas such as law and society, health care institutions, family life, criminology, urban development, social psychology, sports, education, political and economic behavior, media, culture and the arts.

The World Language Education (WLE) program integrates education and language courses. Your foreign language education degree will prepare you to teach kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of urban and suburban education settings, including public and private schools.

As part of this program, you will take language courses from the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and education courses from the College of Education. You will earn a BA from the College of Education, and concentrations are offered in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

DePaul’s undergraduate Finance degree will provide you with a solid foundation in financial management and an understanding of public and private financial processes, financial markets, analysis and investments.

Core curriculum focuses on banking and financial services, investment analysis/management, corporate finance management, risk management and qualitative reasoning. Marketing
Some courses are available online. The Marketing concentration is designed for data science master’s students who want to combine strong technical skills in analytics with competency in marketing analytics and customer relationship management. You’ll learn how to extract information from data to support business decision making and marketing decisions.

The MS in Community Psychology has been developed in response to interests expressed by community groups and organizations for assistance in addressing the needs of their most vulnerable members. The program prepares students to work at the master’s level in the field of Community Psychology in a variety of community, government and consulting work settings.

Students will learn how a community-based social justice perspective recognizes inequalities and promotes the exercise of greater power (i.e., access to resources and decision-making) for communities that have been marginalized, and creates ties to advocacy work with oppressed populations. The program leads to an applied, terminal MS degree.

As an Italian major, you will study the language, literature and culture of the Italian-speaking world. You will learn how the Italian influence extends throughout the world in art, music, literature, fashion and cuisine.
