The Secondary Education program prepares you to teach 9th through 12th grade in a variety of urban and suburban education settings, including public and private high schools. You can graduate with a State of Illinois license to teach designated subject-area content (listed below). The program also provides you an opportunity to receive a Diploma Year Program Award (IB certification) to teach in International Baccalaureate schools world-wide.

As part of the secondary education major, you’ll learn educational theories and effective teaching practices, including how to design and implement curriculum; participate in extensive field experiences at multiple schools, and student-teach for 10 weeks.

The master's in Product Innovation and Computing is offered by the College of Computing and Digital Media with some course work taken from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business (KGSB). As a Journalism major at DePaul, you will develop a skill set that prepares you for a career as a multimedia content producer and video storyteller. Data Science Concentration
The Data Science concentration is designed to provide students with computational techniques used by statistical researchers and practitioners beyond standard statistical software packages.
