As a Marketing major at DePaul, you’ll deepen your understanding of how marketing delivers value to customers and businesses. You will develop your skills for analyzing and solving market problems to create and implement marketing strategies.

Choose from one of three concentrations for your bachelor’s degree in Marketing:

• Digital Marketing incorporates the coursework you’ll need to be successful in organizations that emphasize social media, interactive and mobile marketing.
• Standard Marketing provides you with the flexibility to tailor courses to fit a wide array of careers that interest you.
• Sales Leadership allows you to combine classroom learning with real-world experiences, preparing you for professional growth opportunities that often come with success in sales management. You’ll benefit from mentorship and career connections provided by faculty and corporate partners associated with DePaul’s Sales Leadership Center.

DePaul’s Neuroscience bachelor’s degree program is an interdisciplinary program that draws from the natural, behavioral and computational science fields.

In the program, you’ll learn:

• Fundamental concepts that underlie the function of the nervous system on a cellular and molecular level
• How the nervous system produces behavior and cognition
• The role of computer science and mathematics in new technologies and therapies within the field
• Neuroscience research methods and theory through scientific investigation, laboratory experience and research opportunities

As an Astrophysics major, you’ll study the formation of the universe and the behavior and life cycles of stars, planets and galaxies. You’ll focus on scientific investigation, laboratory experience and research opportunities to give you hands-on experience in the field of astrophysics.

You’ll start by taking core courses that align with the standard Physics major. The program is designed with flexibility so that you can focus on instrumentation, observational data analysis, or theoretical/computational work by choosing appropriate elective courses.

The master's in Product Innovation and Computing is offered by the College of Computing and Digital Media with some course work taken from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business (KGSB). This STEM degree incorporates the innovation and entrepreneurship processes with computer science, and allows students in the program to recognize broader issues in technology-related problems and understand the business constraints affecting this technology.

The Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) prepares students to ideate, design, implement, and evaluate computer-based technologies so they are useful and usable for end users. This interdisciplinary degree integrates concepts and methods from computer science, graphic design and the social sciences. Drawing upon these concepts and methods, students learn user-centered and participatory design approaches as they create information and communication technologies (ICTs) such as dynamic web sites, mobile apps and desktop applications. Particular emphasis is given to ICT evaluation, exploratory user research, information architecture, interaction design, and prototype development.

The Secondary Education program prepares you to teach 9th through 12th grade in a variety of urban and suburban education settings, including public and private high schools. You can graduate with a State of Illinois license to teach designated subject-area content (listed below). The program also provides you an opportunity to receive a Diploma Year Program Award (IB certification) to teach in International Baccalaureate schools world-wide.

As part of the secondary education major, you’ll learn educational theories and effective teaching practices, including how to design and implement curriculum; participate in extensive field experiences at multiple schools, and student-teach for 10 weeks.

Learn how to think creatively, implement successful growth strategies and generate new business ideas with DePaul’s MBA in Entrepreneurship. Our nationally ranked entrepreneurship MBA program will teach you to build your own business as well as manage innovative processes in established firms.

Participate in entrepreneurship workshops and new-venture competitions. This is DePaul’s version of “Shark Tank,” designed to challenge you as rigorously as the real world does.

For early career professionals from non-business backgrounds, the MS in Management prepares you to gain a thorough understanding of management theory and techniques. With a master’s in Management from DePaul, you’ll learn to successfully lead, manage and implement change in a wide range of organizations.

The World Language Education (WLE) program integrates education and language courses. Your foreign language education degree will prepare you to teach kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of urban and suburban education settings, including public and private schools.

As part of this program, you will take language courses from the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and education courses from the College of Education. You will earn a BA from the College of Education, and concentrations are offered in Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.
