According to the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration, social workers are the nation’s largest group of mental health providers. And, over 40 percent of all disaster mental health volunteers trained by the Red Cross are social workers.

And your options are endless: statistics, calculus, geometry, abstract algebra, topology, differential equations and many more! Applied
The more mathematics an engineering, science, computer science or business student takes, the more jobs openings and graduate school openings are available to that student. The applied mathematics degree is an especially good choice for a double major for students who are already required to have a minor in mathematics, such as engineering and computer science majors. It also qualifies business students to work as an actuary.

The Health and Physical Education teaching degree prepares students to deliver quality health education and physical education to young people in grades K-12. The courses were all designed to follow best practices for preparing excellent teachers who are passionate about the health and fitness of our youth.

Governments, corporations, financial institutions, hospitals and private businesses all amass confidential information. That information is all about their employees and customers, products, research — and financial status. Our experienced faculty will guide you to success. On graduation day, you'll be ready to begin your career in information security.

Contribute your vision to the world. Learn the foundations and practice of animation, from character design to top-end computer graphics and 3D graphics. At Lipscomb, you'll grow your creative skills under some of the most prominent animators in the U.S., including Tom Bancroft and John Pomeroy. You’ll connect with and learn from experts in Maya software, the industry standard in computer graphics and CGI effects. You’ll even have the option of taking on opportunities in Los Angeles — our department’s Los Angeles internship program as well as a yearly trip to work at an animation studio there.
