The Master of Science in Early Childhood Education is a degree designed for individuals who are currently working with young children or are desiring to work with young children in an educational setting. Courses are structured to increase the educator’s knowledge of young children and the ensuing implications for programs and curricula.

Teachers, curriculum specialists and administrators will improve their competence in designing curriculum, classrooms, centers, and classroom experiences for young children. Students will also improve their skills in evaluating instruction based on children’s needs, and develop techniques to appropriately evaluate young children’s learning.

Through the Master's in Early Childhood Education, teachers, curriculum specialists and administrators develop advanced expertise in designing curricula, classrooms, and experiences for young children. Art
The Bachelor of Arts degree with major study in art is a general program in art. The degree requires a minimum of 51 semester hours of art coursework. Course selections include two- and three-dimensional art, art history, design, and art electives.

You’ll be able to demonstrate knowledge of key finance theories and concepts, and will apply these Finance theories and concepts correctly.

Students of history find themselves in classes that are reading and writing intensive. They hone their thinking ability as they encounter diverse views of historical development to implement methods and theories used in analyzing and understanding the past.

History students do far more than memorize names and dates, for they must come to their own conclusions about the forces that have shaped humanity as well as the significance of historical events.

The study of history offers students the ability to develop important intellectual skills. History students will gain a political and cultural awareness that leads to a deeper appreciation of news, literature, art, and music. Interdisciplinary Studies
The University Studies degree at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is a flexible undergraduate program that allows students to design a course of study that best fits their educational and career goals rather than follow a specific track of coursework prescribed by a major degree. Public Administration focuses on the application of Public Administration theory and concepts in real world situations. The program focuses on the management of critical issues in our three tracks:

The MPA has been designed to meet the needs of full-time employees wishing to earn their degree through part-time study. Students in the program will take a core of seven courses in order to increase their understanding of administrative theory, policy making, data analysis, public budgeting and finance, and human resource management.

Within this program, you’ll design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data along with designing a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability. You’ll also identify, formulate, solve engineering problems, and understand professional and ethical responsibility with an ability to communicate effectively. As part of this degree, you’ll be able to analyze and design complex electrical and electronic devices, software and systems containing hardware and software components.
