The Master of Science in Early Childhood Education is a degree designed for individuals who are currently working with young children or are desiring to work with young children in an educational setting. Courses are structured to increase the educator’s knowledge of young children and the ensuing implications for programs and curricula.

Teachers, curriculum specialists and administrators will improve their competence in designing curriculum, classrooms, centers, and classroom experiences for young children. Students will also improve their skills in evaluating instruction based on children’s needs, and develop techniques to appropriately evaluate young children’s learning.

The Bachelor of Arts degree with major study in art is a general program in art. The degree requires a minimum of 51 semester hours of art coursework. Course selections include two- and three-dimensional art, art history, design, and art electives.

You’ll also identify, formulate, solve engineering problems, and understand professional and ethical responsibility with an ability to communicate effectively. Management Information Systems
The MIS program supports students and professionals in their applied use of computers. Information systems supports a variety of business activities using computer systems; it is not intended to prepare software developers.

What Will I Learn
Within this program, you’ll gain a broad understanding of management information systems. You’ll be able to demonstrate an understanding of how computer systems support a variety of business activities.

The physics curriculum includes courses that provide a basic knowledge of the field of physics.

Physics courses are also offered in support of other major study areas in the sciences, mathematics, computer science, engineering and technology, and 8-12 level physical science teaching certification.

Within this program, you’ll gain a broad understanding of physics. You’ll be able to understand scientific methods and be able use them to develop and conduct studies of physical systems. You will also be able to communicate physical information effectively at the undergraduate level, whether the communication is in oral or written form, with or without the use of technology.

The university offers the Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Environmental Science, an undergraduate Minor in Environmental Science, Secondary Teaching Certification in Earth Science, Life-Earth Science, or Physical Science, and cross-disciplinary educational opportunities for students earning degrees in related fields such as the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences, BAS degree (Environmental & Occupational Safety/Emergency Response Track). A Fast Track Program allows high-achieving students to earn both the BS and MS degrees in Environmental Science in five years through accelerated study.
