The International Year is a 3-semester program, equivalent to a year's study of a bachelor's degree. This program has been specially designed to prepare international students for an undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Computer Science
The computer science degree program is applied in nature and is designed to prepare students to begin or advance computing careers in business, industry, government, or education, or to pursue further study in computer science. The curriculum is thorough, current, and oriented toward the technical competencies required of a modern computer professional with an emphasis on the development, evaluation, and integration of software systems.

What Will I Learn
Within this program, you’ll analyze a complex computing problem, and to apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions. You’ll also design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program’s discipline. As apart of this degree, you will be able to communicate effectively, make informed judgments and function as a member or leader within computer science team using theory and software development fundamentals to produce solutions.

What Will I Learn
Within this program, you’ll design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data along with designing a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability. You’ll also identify, formulate, solve engineering problems, and understand professional and ethical responsibility with an ability to communicate effectively. As part of this degree, you’ll be able to analyze and design complex electrical and electronic devices, software and systems containing hardware and software components.

Within this program, you will understand, evaluate, and creatively use large amounts of information and put these to fruition in reading, writing, and speaking effectively.  You will also make keen observations, solve problems, and make appropriate decisions. As apart of this degree, you will also know and understand the world in which you live and to concentrate for long periods of time.

What Will I Learn
Within this program, you will be demonstrate mastery of client-focused, visual communication and problem-solving methodologies. As apart of this degree you will also be proficient in professional skills and advanced critical thinking in analyzing discipline history, theory, criticism and practices.

The geographic information science degree programs enable students to apply computing, physical science, and mathematical principles (including multivariate calculus and differential equations) to design and build physical systems to model the Earth. Our students are educated to gather geospatial data via remote sensing and land surveying then convert this data, along with other geospatial data resources, into manageable digital maps and databases for display and analysis. A career in the geospatial industry is a student's opportunity to explore the world and utilize the latest computer technologies and sciences. In addition to many careers in the geospatial industry, all graduates are eligible to take the licensing examination for Surveyor in Training (SIT) and, ultimately, Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS).

The University Studies degree at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is a flexible undergraduate program which allows students to design a course of study that best fits their educational and career goals rather than follow a specific track of coursework prescribed by a major degree. The University Studies degree can be completed as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BS). Students will begin with an in-depth look at the five main components of solving a problem and practice the skills through a series of a structured exercises. During this process, students will discuss research, assessment of data, brainstorming and creative thinking, planning, time management, leadership and collaboration, effective communication, and evaluating results. Students will then apply the skills learned to their area of interest in a final project.

The Master's in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport and Exercise Science prepares professionals in the multi-faceted disciplines of athletic performance. These include biomechanics, exercise physiology, leadership/management of sport, motor performance, nutrition, assessment of sport performance, sport psychology, and strength & conditioning. The program provides and supports higher-level knowledge, specialized proficiencies and the development of independent creativity. Thesis and non-thesis options are offered.
