Biomedical Engineering
The biomedical engineering program prepares you to work in today’s healthcare industry and learn how to support professionals, hospitals, and medical offices by creating and maintaining important tools and resources. Engineering Technology (Contract Major)

Instrumental Performance - Cello
You will join a tight-knit community of artists who are perfecting their craft. Through personal attention and mentorship from Hartt’s accomplished faculty members, you will develop innovative ideas and career ready skills. Music Theatre
Hartt’s music theatre major integrates comprehensive actor training with rigorous instruction in singing and dance. Weekly individual voice lessons, along with classes in ear training and music theory, provide you with a strong musical foundation. Multiple levels of ballet, jazz, and tap help you develop the dance skills required for professional success.

Painting and Drawing
Drawing and painting are closely linked visual practices, and an understanding of one enriches a maturing practice of the other. A fluid definition of these disciplines underscores our understanding that the contemporary art world is widely interdisciplinary in nature.

As a student in the painting and drawing department, you will develop personally significant ideas that reference painting’s rich history and contribute to its lively contemporary conversation.

Music production & technology at Hartt trains musicians to become music production professionals (i.e. recording, mixing, and mastering engineers).  Musicianship training has played an essential role for many, if not most, successful producers. Through study in music, electronics and acoustics, you will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the professional audio industry.
