The horn studio at Hartt creates a supportive atmosphere that offers frequent collaboration with other students and studios.

Through weekly privates lessons, and weekly studio classes, you will focus on small ensemble and solo playing. At Hartt, you will receive comprehensive musical training while developing innovative ideas and career ready skills while gaining exposure to nationally and internationally recognized musicians (recent guest artists include Gene Pokorney of CSO, Julie Landsman of The Met, Ray Mase of ABQ.)

Aerospace Engineering
Students pursuing the aerospace engineering program will develop in-demand skills in the fundamental science and technologies to create, develop, and improve aircraft and spacecraft.

If you are interested in studying psychology and are planning a career in business, industry, education, health services, personnel work, or in any field involving human relations, the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology program is for you. It’s also the first step if you are interested in becoming a psychologist, which requires graduate training after you complete the undergraduate major.

If you are planning a career in law, government, the civil services, politics, journalism, or the nonprofit sector, or policy analysis, our politics and government program gives you the opportunity to explore your interests and get hands-on experience before you graduate.
Politics and government is the study of policy, government, and law giving you an understanding about the processes by which power, authority, influence, control, freedom, wealth, and other political resources are competitively pursued, captured, and distributed. You also study how these become public policies, part of government, and the law.

Organizational Psychology
The integration of theory and practice in our MSOP program prepares you to lead, manage, and/or consult with dynamic and diverse organizations operating in a global environment. Courses are taken in the Department of Psychology, School of Communication, and Barney School of Business, students develop unique analytical skills and accumulate knowledge from the differing perspectives of these schools of thought.

Electrical and Computer Engineering
The Master of Science (MS) in electrical and computer engineering program is a research-oriented program that focuses on the advancement of the fundamental body of knowledge in electrical and computer engineering while also fostering the development of skills in design and analysis. This program lets you study an area of interest as part of a graduate thesis. Work towards solving a contemporary problem and become a technical expert. This program is also ideal for those who endeavor to eventually pursue their doctoral degree in an area within engineering.

English Secondary Education

The curriculum features a combination of English courses and education courses in a structured program that includes practice teaching.

Judaic Studies
Judaic studies is an interdisciplinary program of study which focuses on the Jews and Judaism, including but not limited to, historical, linguistic, religious, sociological, political, and philosophical perspectives. Our program spans the periods from the beginnings of ancient Israel through the modern Jews and modern Israel. If you have no previous experience with Hebrew language, you are required to complete 42 credits including three required, core courses in Jewish history (9 credits) and two years of modern Hebrew (12 credits). The modern Hebrew requirement may be waived for students who demonstrate equivalent fluency.
