The Troy University School of Accountancy is committed to providing students the accounting education required to enter the accounting profession and to pursue a successful professional career. The Troy University School of Accountancy offers an undergraduate accounting curriculum that provides the foundation for entering the accounting profession in the public, private, or governmental area. An undergraduate degree in accounting will also give you a strong foundation in business-related topics such as marketing, finance, and management. Earning your degree in Accounting gives you flexibility in choosing employment or furthering your education. The internships generally begin in January and last approximately three months. Human services professionals may choose areas of practice that allow them to assist children and families, the elderly, the homeless, immigrants or veterans. Human services professionals work in a variety of organizations such as those assisting people with finding employment and appropriating food, nutrition, housing and shelter. They may also serve as victims’ assistants or work in public safety or disaster relief.
