TROY’s Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science will provide you with training and options that can open a multitude of opportunities for future careers in the medical profession.

Within TROY’s applied health science program, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on four areas of knowledge and skill. The core of the program—based within the study of nursing—will create a firm foundation for any future health-related field you choose to enter. You may also choose to learn and explore within the applied health science program’s three other concentrations in the areas of communication, nutrition and humanities to further develop your area of interest in the medical profession. An additional option, as you work your way through the program, will be to pursue a degree in nursing by applying to the nursing school with the proper GPA and required course completion.

Environmental Science is the field of study that examines questions addressing global warming and biodiversity that guides policy makers into decisions that ensure a sustainable future. Through your journey toward your degree, you will study how the Earth’s abiotic and biotic systems work with an emphasis on how human activity influences these systems and the methods of control for air, water, land and noise pollution. The rich array of professional quality theatre, musical theatre, and dance productions each year give students a chance to immediately apply what is learned in the classroom, and new works and outreach initiatives allow students to experiment with creating and producing their own work.
