Findlay's graphic design major provides a curriculum focused on the development of visual communication skills through coursework in digital imaging, typography, interactive media, and commercial design. Students also gain experience in marketing and communications.

Program Highlights

• Graphic design majors have a variety of opportunities to participate in internships with local businesses or organizations and with offices on campus. Students also participate in service learning projects in the classroom to design publications for community partners.
• Students in the graphic design major enjoy access to the Mazza Museum, the most diverse collection of original artwork by children's book illustrators in the world. Students attend annual Mazza conferences, interact with nationally recognized award-winning illustrators, complete internships with the museum, and volunteer with monthly educational events.
• Senior graphic design majors participate in capstone coursework that includes career preparation, a senior exhibition, and professionally-oriented individualized work with local clients. An emphasis in computer systems prepares students for careers as network administrators or software engineers.  Graduates will be able to provide expertise in the design, monitoring, and maintenance of organizational networks.

To complete a Computer Science degree with a Computer Systems Emphasis you must complete six computer systems emphasis courses in addition to the computer science core courses.

Literature
The literature emphasis teaches students to become scholars who can think critically and analyze written, oral, and visual texts in a variety of genres. The focus helps to develop an understanding of the relationship between writer and audience and teaches students to situate texts within relative social, cultural, and historical contexts.

The Master of Science in Radiologic Sciences Program was designed as a way for nuclear medicine technologists to elevate their training and certifications in just two years.
