The Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education is designed to give you the skills and confidence to become an innovative and attuned professional teacher with the knowledge and experience to work in private enterprise, government agencies and community-based early childhood education settings, either locally or globally.

At the end of your studies, you'll be qualified to teach in the early childhood setting in Victoria. If you’re interested in teaching outside of Victoria or overseas, registration will be subject to the criteria of the relevant state or overseas accrediting authorities.

RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business double degree provides you with the capability to play a pivotal role in planning, implementing and managing aerospace projects and developments in a wide range of industries that require high level business skills.

The aerospace engineering degree is concerned with analysing, designing and operating sophisticated aeronautics and astronautics hardware and software systems, while the business degree is concerned with organisational planning, coordination and resource direction.

You will graduate from the aerospace degree with an internationally recognised qualification, enabling you to have a global career as a leader in a wide range of industries and organisations.

With an extensive range of majors and minors to choose from, you can personalise your degree, developing specialist skills in your area of interest. Specialisations include aircraft techologies, spacecraft technolgies, aviation industry, accounting, finance and international business.

Work integrated learning is embedded throughout the degree, providing you with practical experience and employability skills. Hands-on learning experiences include capstone projects, industry placements, and participation in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge.

The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Honours) provides industry-based participatory learning.

In this degree, you will gain experience, skills and knowledge that can only be obtained from within the pharmaceutical science industry.

Placement allocation is determined by a competitive process. Based on student areas of interest, partners conduct interviews and select their preferred candidates.

Graduates continuing into honours from the RMIT Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences undergraduate degree will commence placement selection in third year.

Applicants graduating from an equivalent degree from other institutions will liaise with the program coordinator to facilitate preferences and placement interview times after application and enrolment.

The Master of Laboratory Medicine is designed for graduates of general science or biomedical science degrees who are interested in a career in diagnostic pathology or medical research but who lack experience in the diagnostic laboratory disciplines.

The Bachelor of Education is designed around relevant, up-to-date course content to prepare you for the challenging, yet rewarding, world of education.

Combining a variety of contemporary, interactive learning and teaching approaches—including both face-to-face and online delivery modes—this immersive degree covers all of the bases required to become an exceptional teacher.

This selective-entry, research-oriented honours degree is designed for capable and highly-motivated students who want hands-on involvement in research projects.

It prepares you for the compulsory one-year internship that you will need to complete in order to gain Australia-wide registration as a pharmacist.

Once you've successfully completed the degree and the internship, you will be registered to practise in any area of pharmacy in Australia, including community or hospital pharmacy.

Alternatively, this degree provides you with a foundation from which you can progress with further studies, to achieve a range of other career opportunities.

Under expert supervision, you will develop your skills and join researchers already active in traditional and complementary medicine. Emphasis will be on research into evidence-based healthcare and clarifying how these therapies may work.

• Research is undertaken in a strongly multi-disciplinary environment that brings clinical and basic researchers together to undertake novel research at the boundaries between disciplines.

As the pharmaceutical industry expands in Australia and world-wide, your understanding of the engineering process and other scientific fields involved in drug development and production, will ensure you’re well equipped to work across a range of roles.

You’ll gain a thorough understanding of the principles of chemical engineering and pharmaceutical sciences, allowing you to apply your knowledge to large scale production in the pharmaceutical industry.

You’ll have the opportunity to design creative solutions through inspiring and sustainable design-and-build projects, as well as taking part in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge — a humanitarian-focused course offered in all RMIT engineering degrees.

To ensure you graduate job-ready, you’ll also have an opportunity to undertake a work-integrated learning (industry experience) elective.

It is a unique supervisor-guided independent research project with complimentary workshops in research methods and scientific communication appropriate to your chosen research discipline. Specifically, the benefits of an honours degree are:
