The Bachelor of Health, Physical Education and Sport (Secondary)  has been designed to equip you with the professional knowledge and practical skills you need to teach in diverse school settings.

Utilising a strong core curriculum with an explicit focus on teaching practice, and you will learn to use a range of teaching strategies that engage your students' needs, use assessment and data to inform practice, and use critical reflection to impact the future of your classroom.

Throughout this degree, you will:

• Complete over 80 days of teaching practice to gain real-world experience and graduate classroom-ready
• Study three teaching methods, for health, physical education, and one elective subject area
• Gain sports coaching experience
• Have the option to undertake accelerated learning to complete your degree in 3.5 years.

The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Honours) provides industry-based participatory learning.

In this degree, you will gain experience, skills and knowledge that can only be obtained from within the pharmaceutical science industry.

Placement allocation is determined by a competitive process. Based on student areas of interest, partners conduct interviews and select their preferred candidates.

Graduates continuing into honours from the RMIT Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences undergraduate degree will commence placement selection in third year.

Applicants graduating from an equivalent degree from other institutions will liaise with the program coordinator to facilitate preferences and placement interview times after application and enrolment.

It also includes other therapies such as acupuncture, cupping (applying a heated cup to the skin to create suction) and tui na (remedial massage).

The emphasis is on the integration of Chinese medicine and western medical sciences, working together with the health community to provide the community with skilled health practitioners in Chinse medicine. Advanced clinical training is provided in Australia and China (where practicable) to broaden your clinical experience.

Graduates will be able to practise Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture at an internationally accepted level, with the capacity to launch careers in independent practice, or working within healthcare organisations as a Chinese medicine practitioner registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

In this degree, you will learn to strategically apply new technologies and modes of manufacturing to help streamline operations and innovate.

Within the manufacturing industry, factory systems are evolving to meet customers’ changing expectations and keep pace with global competition. These changes impact everything and everyone, from the factory floor to the boardroom, and there’s a growing need for experts with knowledge of the latest technological and operational strategies.

The Master of Engineering (Manufacturing) explores sustainable engineering, Industry 4.0 technologies and biomedical manufacturing, and more.

Studying in the heart of Melbourne, you will build essential skills in project management, conduct research, and have the option to hone your engineering knowledge in a range of specialised elective subjects.

RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business double degree provides you with the capability to play a pivotal role in planning, implementing and managing aerospace projects and developments in a wide range of industries that require high level business skills.

The aerospace engineering degree is concerned with analysing, designing and operating sophisticated aeronautics and astronautics hardware and software systems, while the business degree is concerned with organisational planning, coordination and resource direction.

You will graduate from the aerospace degree with an internationally recognised qualification, enabling you to have a global career as a leader in a wide range of industries and organisations.

With an extensive range of majors and minors to choose from, you can personalise your degree, developing specialist skills in your area of interest. Specialisations include aircraft techologies, spacecraft technolgies, aviation industry, accounting, finance and international business.

Work integrated learning is embedded throughout the degree, providing you with practical experience and employability skills. Hands-on learning experiences include capstone projects, industry placements, and participation in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge.

RMIT's clinical and experiential research projects contribute to the growth and development of food sciences in Australia.

Under expert supervision, you will join researchers already active in:

• Application of nanotechnology to food products
• Bioprocessing

• Encapsulation of micronutrients, enzymes, probiotics and essential fatty acids

This master degree may be undertaken in a project or thesis mode.

The School of Science is renowned for our technical expertise and understanding of the commercial realities and needs of different industry sectors. RMIT partners with industry leaders and works collaboratively with experts from other disciplines, shaping a range of solutions to real-world problems.

Osteopaths are trained in diagnosis, management, and treatment of musculoskeletal pain disorders. They combine conventional medical testing procedures and skills of palpation and motion testing to inform their clinical rationale for treating a patient's condition.

You will be trained in musculoskeletal diagnosis, clinical procedures in performing conventional medical tests, physical examination techniques, and motion testing in order to assist in diagnosis of a patient’s condition.

Osteopaths make treatment decisions that depend on the patient as well as their condition. They might give advice on posture, exercise, lifting procedures, nutrition and other areas.

You will begin work-integrated learning in first year, with clinical observations in the RMIT Health Clinic.

In the final two years, you will conduct safe, skilled evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints under the supervision of qualified and nationally registered osteopaths, over a period of 38 weeks per year.

There is also an opportunity to complete a work placement in an Australian osteopathic clinic.

The Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education is designed to give you the skills and confidence to become an innovative and attuned professional teacher with the knowledge and experience to work in private enterprise, government agencies and community-based early childhood education settings, either locally or globally.

At the end of your studies, you'll be qualified to teach in the early childhood setting in Victoria. If you’re interested in teaching outside of Victoria or overseas, registration will be subject to the criteria of the relevant state or overseas accrediting authorities.
