RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business double degree provides you with the capability to play a pivotal role in planning, implementing and managing aerospace projects and developments in a wide range of industries that require high level business skills.

The aerospace engineering degree is concerned with analysing, designing and operating sophisticated aeronautics and astronautics hardware and software systems, while the business degree is concerned with organisational planning, coordination and resource direction.

You will graduate from the aerospace degree with an internationally recognised qualification, enabling you to have a global career as a leader in a wide range of industries and organisations.

The Graduate Diploma in Journalism is designed to enhance your undergraduate qualification with focused study in journalism. This one-year diploma sets you up for a career as a journalist by allowing you to explore all forms of contemporary journalism and put modern practice into its legal, ethical and social context. 

As part of the curriculum, you will present and produce live radio news for community radio station RRR and our live-to-air television news program, Newsline, as well as create text and data reports for our publication The City Journal.

You will work individually with our work placement coordinator to find at least one internship as part of your study.

The Bachelor of Design (Animation and Interactive Media) looks at animation in all its forms, from the animated character to motion graphics across linear and interactive environments. You will focus intensively on the practice of design itself, developing advanced, specialised techniques for creative and collaborative work. Projects are curated around key sites of urban change locally and globally and engage with the professional and community networks invested in their future. 

You will learn to creatively integrate expertise from related urban disciplines into design proposals, promoting alternative models for future city-building. This program is designed to nurture designers who would like to advance their career and develop innovative approaches to their practice.

This diploma is suitable for those who already have bilingual skills, but have not yet reached the required level of specialised language proficiency for the Advanced Diploma of Interpreting.

Interpreters provide a critical service, helping people to overcome language barriers when accessing community services in areas such as health, education, law, business and travel.

You’ll gain basic transfer skills for interpreting in general conversational settings, learn about professional ethics, and improve language proficiency. You'll develop the skills to conduct transactions, interactions, and negotiations at a functional level.

Students studying spoken language will explore legal and medical terminology, while Auslan interpreting students will learn about health and education terminology.

In this program you will develop advanced skills in order to critically analyse information, synthesise knowledge, and communicate your research findings effectively for a variety of career settings.
