Business Information System
Major studies in information systems include business IT development, information systems strategy and governance, business databases, e-business systems, and business analysis and design.

Get started in a career where you will design electronic products and processes that make a difference.

You’ll develop skills to design, validate, and evaluate electronics and communication equipment as well as systems.

You’ll also be able to manage risk, estimate and manage projects, and provide technical and sales advice.

You will learn skills in programmable gate array technologies, circuit simulation, printed circuit board design, digital and analogue systems and applications, amplifiers, analogue integrated circuit design, communication systems, mobile phones, global positioning systems (GPS), microwave links, embedded controllers, AM/FM, computer programming, engineering software and project management, and computational solutions.

This advanced diploma provides you with the advanced technical and managerial skills needed for technicians and engineers working in aerospace manufacturing, design and maintenance at a paraprofessional level.

You’ll be equipped to work in small to large enterprises, as well as the defence forces.

Aircraft maintenance engineers work on aircraft engines, airframes, airframe systems, electrics, instruments, radio systems, and aircraft sheet metal work.

Specialist areas include:

• Aircraft design and layout
• Mechanical (fault diagnosis of airframe and engine systems)
• Structures (producing, maintaining and repairing sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite materials and components on aircraft).

In this program you will develop advanced skills in order to critically analyse information, synthesise knowledge, and communicate your research findings effectively for a variety of career settings.
