This double degree is for engineers in the fields of physical metallurgy, materials engineering, ceramic engineering or process metallurgy who want to become skilled in technical management and more aware of the economic and social aspects of the engineering profession. Medical science is the foundation that the practice of medicine is built on. This degree delves into how the human body functions and responds to disease and drug treatments. It incorporates facets of several scientific disciplines to provide you with an extensive understanding of the human body.

The Bachelor of Medical Science explores:

You'll receive a foundational education in fundamental principles of rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering, as well as practical strata control applications. This degree teaches you practical knowledge to become a mine strata control engineer.

This degree is designed for professionals working at mine sites and are offered in a flexible delivery format; many are available in distance mode with a limited number of face-to-face workshops/sessions. Assessments include practical site-based assignments, group work, interactive work and presentations.
