The Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) has been designed with consultation from industry to set you up for lifelong employability. By combining your BCom with a Bachelor of Arts, you can choose from a diverse range of majors and subjects in the arts, humanities and social sciences. You'll develop an in-depth knowledge and breadth of understanding, gaining the tools to think critically, communicate effectively and conduct independent research.

Environmental engineers focus on the impact on the natural world by engineering activities. They combine their broad knowledge of engineering and environmental processes in identifying environmental problems and then developing effective solutions. They also coordinate the activities of various specialist groups such as biologists, ecologists and geologists within major projects.

Environmental Engineering embraces parts of Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on management, system design, water, geotechnical and transport engineering. It also covers aspects of Chemical Engineering, applied and biological sciences, and environmental studies. To get you work ready, you'll apply these skills through 60 days of approved industry training.

Information Systems(Major)

Media is the glue of a modern society. It now shapes every aspect of life today. The Bachelor of Media at UNSW unlocks the specialist expertise, self-knowledge, creative thinking, and creative problem-solving skills to make an impact as a media professional, or simply set you up as a more aware professional to succeed in your second and third job, not just your first.

You’ll have the opportunity to tailor a degree to your specific interests. Specialise in cinema studies, communications and journalism, media studies, public relations & advertising, or screen production. Electrical Engineering encompasses research, design, development, manufacturing and management of complex systems for many different uses. You'll work on mobile phone infrastructure or electricity wires that power cities.

This degree focuses on design, development, manufacturing and management of complex hardware and software systems, and reliable cost-effective devices. This involves the use of new information and computer-intensive technologies. The Bachelor of Social Sciences/Law is a 5-year double degree program that provides the opportunity to obtain two degrees of professional importance to the public sector, community service, business and law practice. The Master of Global Health/Master of Public Health (Extension) is an innovative approach to postgraduate health education, enabling you to specialise in public health in international developing country contexts as well as Australia and other developed countries. This program meets a well-recognised need to strengthen public health capacities within Australia and internationally.

The Master of Global Health is a sought-after qualification in international health. The Master of Public Health (Extension) will provide an opportunity to extend your studies by completing additional courses and a research project in public health.
