The Graduate Diploma in Communication provides a broad-based communication qualification with a focus on the impact of digital disruption within media and the creative industries. Explore areas of social media management, public relations and professional communication, providing you with key management skills that will be complemented by critical analysis of the possibilities and impacts of digital media and how these impact your sector.

What you'll learn

What you'll learn
You will start with core courses in areas such as analytics, accounting and economic theory. These will give you a solid grasp of business fundamentals that you can apply to a range of careers. You’ll then branch out into your specialisation and learn the latest in areas such as macroeconomics; economics of public policy and analysis; portfolio and fund management; as well as national and international economies. You can also embark on an overseas study tour, undertake an industry placement, or work on an industry-related research project.

What you'll learn

This degree is made up of 40 courses. You will do 24 courses in law and 16 courses in management.  

Laws (Honours)

As a UniSA Law student, you’ll gain valuable skills from day one, including in reasoning, reporting, analysis, negotiation, communication and advocacy. You will also experience what it's like to argue a case and provide legal advice.

Throughout your degree you will study core courses that teach you the fundamental legal concepts that underpin the Australian legal system. Courses such as torts, contracts, criminal law and constitutional law will give you a good understanding of basic legal principles.

Our Law program also features courses that build your leadership skills, intercultural communication, project management and capacity for community engagement.

You will have the opportunity to have practical learning experiences including mooting, negotiation, and witness examination. You will also engage in a Community Justice project, high-level research or an industry placement, ensuring you’ll be prepared for legal practise upon graduation.

Management

You will study core courses such as Business and Society, Career Development for Professionals and Organisational Behaviour. You will also learn the latest in specialist areas such as:

This Fast-track to Masters program allows you to fast-track your career by completing an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in just four years. With a focus on design research, theory and practice, this graduate diploma will prepare you for a career as an interior architect or interior designer. 

You will study the development and application of research processes. Through our industry connections, you will be given the opportunity to work on creative projects, developing skills in writing project proposals and presenting information.

A focus on practical learning also means you will gain the skills and knowledge needed to design stimulating, sustainable and visually appealing interiors, as well as the confidence to embark on real-world projects.

You will also develop an advanced understanding of industrial design and graduate with the ability to develop and design physical products, systems, interfaces, and environments for cultural and economic exchange.
