This exciting mathematics program is flexible, innovative and provides opportunities for students to work with leading researchers to gain academic and employment experience.

Choose from a broad range of courses or concentrations in pure mathematics (development of mathematical ideas and concepts for their own sake), applied mathematics (mathematics for applications in science, engineering, economics or business), statistics (experimental design, sampling methods and data analysis techniques), MICA (mathematics coupled with modern computer software applications) or mathematics education.

This program is ideal for students who are interested in acquiring a well-rounded understanding of health and wellness at the individual and societal levels.

Students will learn the principles behind health promotion and disease prevention, as well as the major determinants of human health, including social, biological, and environmental.

For students with health-related college diplomas, this program provides an opportunity to update their knowledge or enhance their credentials. A set number of credits may be granted to allow for a more expedient completion of the program.

Biophysics is the physics of life, of all living systems and their interaction with their surroundings, both natural and artificial. It is a rapidly advancing field, encompassing a wide variety of areas in natural and life sciences.

Biophysics uses all methods of scientific inquiry — theory, experiment and large-scale computer simulation — to understand living systems at the molecular level.

Biophysics also forms the basis of many aspects of medical physics, another rapidly developing field in much demand right now.

Brock’s Biophysics program will provide you with a superb learning environment and exciting research opportunities. Extended research opportunities are available through Brock’s participation in the Biophysics Interdepartmental Group (BIG), based at the University of Guelph.

Within the Department of Geography and Tourism Studies, our program examines such questions as: Can we balance the economic benefits of tourism with the negative consequences of pollution, loss of biodiversity, economic inequality and unsuitable cultural change?

The Professional Masters Preparation Certificate (PMPC) is an eight-month preparation program that guides you through the challenges that you will encounter as an international student in a North American professional graduate school. We’ll help you improve your English language skills, gain confidence in academic situations and create a North American academic record. The PMPC is dedicated to helping you overcome foreseeable academic and cultural difficulties and acquire the understanding and skills to make the transition to graduate work smoother and ultimately more successful.

The PMPC is a formal certificate program. Students who successfully complete this program will receive a Brock University certificate. You will also be considered for conditional admission to either the MBA (ISP) or MPAcc (ISP) for the next intake when you apply.

Labour Studies is an interdisciplinary field and is home to popular courses, including Labour of Sport, Labour and Employment Law, Animals at Work, and our simulation-based Collective Bargaining course.

You’ll find a mix of theoretical and applied courses designed to prepare you for a wide range of careers in labour and employment relations, workplace education and training, public policy and administration, and social justice and advocacy.

You may pursue a Labour Studies degree or a combined Labour Studies degree with a co- major in Political Science, Sociology, History, Geography, Economics or Women’s and Gender Studies.

The course is apt for students who wish to be a part of intensive clinical practice and train themselves as nurses. Brock University has been recognized by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) with a seven-year accreditation term for their commitment to providing excellence in nursing education. One can either complete all the four years at Brock or complete the first two at Loyalist College in Belleville, ON and then transfer to Brock for their third and fourth year. 

The program centers on the biophysical establishment of human wellbeing, with courses in life structures, physiology, science, and science, notwithstanding the social parts of wellbeing. It incorporates propelled courses with research center segments in clinical the study of disease transmission, human immunology, restorative microbiology, parasitology, pharmacology, cardiology, and pathology.

At Brock, History is much more than memorizing facts and dates — it involves exploring changes and continuities in bygone societies, cultures and peoples.

The study of History entails following your interests and curiosities, evaluating and interpreting evidence, as well as formulating logical arguments based on that evidence.
