The Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts is a baccalaureate program spanning for a length of four years and offered by the School of Motion Picture Arts. Capilano University provides a diploma in Classical Music which spans for 24 months. This two year program offers students a wholesome and creative environment to nurture their potential. This program is a unified whole of theoretical, historical as well as performance studies. Students are taught a number of instruments such as piano, voice, guitar, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion and composition.

This two year diploma is a transferable program and students can get transferred to a Bachelor’s Degree in Music or a post graduate degree in Music Education and Liberal Arts. Many of the music diploma students transfer to the third year in Music Therapy program. The Legal Administrative Assistant program helps the students develop traditional administrative skills as well as legal procedural courses, including: civil and family litigation, wills and probate, corporate law, convincing and mortgaging, and legal office procedures.

The Health Care Assistant (HCA) program combines theory courses, lab skills and clinical practicums in real-world health care settings. The HCA certificate is an 8-month full-time program offered in an accelerated program that students can complete in 7 months of study.

The Diploma in Human Kinetics majoring in Physical Education offered at Capilano University is an under graduate program that extends for a period of 2 years.
