The North American Business Management Applied Post Baccalaureate Diploma (NABU Applied) builds knowledge about how to do business in North America for students from around the world.

International students and new permanent residents with an undergraduate degree completed outside of Canada can gain both North American business credentials and practical hands-on work experience in a North American organization.

This full-time program is offered in an accelerated format and includes a work placement practicum. Concentrations are available in marketing, human resources, international strategy & entrepreneurship and finance & investment.

The Business Administration Certificate Program teaches students basic management skills that have practical value in a wide variety of jobs.

The program requires successful completion of one required business course, two specialty business courses and a choice of three business elective courses (three-credits each) chosen from the School of Business course offerings.

Credit from the certificate program can ladder into the Business Administration Diploma and/or the Bachelor of Business Administration.

BBA is a four year bachelor’s degree program which deals with different aspects of business and financial management. The Certificate program in Legal Administration Assistant is a one year long undergraduate certificate provided by the School of Legal and Professional Studies at Capilano University. Students who are even remotely interested in the field of law and paralegal studies but do not wish to pursue lawyering as a profession can go for this certificate. The Legal Administrative Assistant program helps the students develop traditional administrative skills as well as legal procedural courses, including: civil and family litigation, wills and probate, corporate law, convincing and mortgaging, and legal office procedures.

Along with complete theoretical knowledge about various practices and concepts underlying law students are guided by a group of expert, highly professional faculty members who supervise and counsel students at every step of the way throughout the program. • Have a basic understanding of cinematic history.

Capilano University offers students a one year long Certificate program in Engineering for undergraduate students. It is a first year university transfer program and once students are thorough with this program they can seek admission in a post-secondary British Columbia institution. After finishing this course students gain direct admission in the second year of a four year Engineering program.

The Bachelor program majoring in Jazz Studies is a four year long program that deals with various aspects of the said subjects such as jazz performances, composing music and theoretical knowledge about music pertaining to the field of jazz. This degree deals with the playing, composing, teaching and conduction of jazz music. 

The two-year diploma comprises the first two years of the Bachelor of Music and gives students the skills to develop a career as a self-employed music professional. The School of Motion Picture Arts at Capilano University, the whole process of documentary making and learning starts from the ground level and gradually students are taught the tips & tricks of the trade. The program follows a professional production cycle from story concept and development, to pre-production, production, post-production and distribution and marketing phases. A number of graduates from this program work as award winning filmmakers and work from research and entry level roles to post production, students have succeeded in a variety of roles. 

The two-year Accounting Assistant Diploma program gives students practical accounting skills, computer competence and basic management expertise that ensure success in the workplace.

Graduates gain a solid foundation in accounting/bookkeeping and general business knowledge with courses in management, quantitative methods, business law, finance, economics and communications during their second year.
