This program is designed to develop the future managers and leaders in the global hospitality and tourism industries. You'll learn from award-winning faculty, training in key areas of Canadian and international tourism management, including revenue management, tourism planning and policy, service management, convention management, hotel operations, and cross-cultural tourism.

As part of this 16-month diploma, you'll participate in a 280-hour practicum (more information in Application Details), working in the hospitality area of your interest. Upon graduation, you may be eligible to apply for a three-year Post Graduate Work Permit.

Capilano University offers a one year long undergraduate diploma called Business Administration Pathway spear headed by the Faculty of Business and Professional Studies. The English for Academic (ESL) Program offers this course in collaboration with the School of Business. This program introduces students to the details and main principles of international business and business administration especially for international students. 

Along with providing credentials for business administration, this program also helps students to work on their English and improve it. This two semester program prepares students for a post-secondary degree in the said field. This program helps students earn a total of 15 points on their business credential.

The Bachelor of Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) offers students a range of academic and education courses that blend theory and practice in the early years, engaging with research and theory.
Three core threads are intertwined throughout the degree: Curriculum, Childhoods, and Leadership and Advocacy. Students are invited to engage in critically reflective practice, working to create classrooms of social justice and equity for children and families.

Courses in the first two years meet the requirements of MCFD for:

• ECE Certificate to Practice
• Infant/Toddler Certificate to Practice, and/or
• Special Needs Certificate to Practice
• The ECCE degree is a pathway to elementary teacher education programs at SFU and UBC.

Capilano University provides a diploma in Classical Music which spans for 24 months. This two year program offers students a wholesome and creative environment to nurture their potential. This program is a unified whole of theoretical, historical as well as performance studies. The Rehabilitation Assistant program at Capilano University is offered by the School of Allied Health and is an undergraduate program that extends over a period of 2 years. The said program incorporates a number of important features which are to be followed by the students such as completing assigned tasks, use of appropriate language, time management, taking constructive feedback and inculcating practical skills necessary to fulfill the role of a rehabilitation assistant.

This is one of the few programs which combine occupational therapy, physiotherapy as well as speech/language audiology therapy. Rehab Assistants are mostly employed under acute care with the patients as well as at rehabilitation centres where the clients or patients need assistance in their day to day life. The age demographic of clients can be from infants to adolescents and can extend to elderly people. Capilano University offers its students a two year long baccalaureate diploma in the field of Technical Theatre. The aforementioned course is curated for students who wish to take up theatre and drama as their career choice. This program does not deal exclusively with acting and performance but also weighs on the other aspects of theatre such as the art of lighting, sound, scenic construction, prop making, scenic paint and stage management to produce numerous productions.
