The Concordia University of Edmonton offers students a two-year long post graduate master’s program called Master of Information Systems Security Management. Concordia University of Edmonton’s Graduate Diploma in Environmental Public Health Practice explores all aspects of the natural and built environment that can influence human health and disease. You will explore the diversity of the field including food and drinking water safety, waste management, air and soil quality, communicable disease control, emergency response and occupational health.

This post-BA program has been designed to meet the needs of students and practicing psychologists to enhance their knowledge and skills in assessment.For post-BA students, the program is intended to offer professional preparation to provide skilled assessment services under the supervision of a registered psychologist (e.g., as a psychological assistant). For registered psychologists, the courses are intended to allow students to incorporate specific domains of psychological knowledge and assessment skills into their professional practice.

Key areas of emphasis include intellectual, personality, forensic, and neuropsychological assessment, in addition to the diagnosis of child, adolescent, and adult psychopathology. Our graduate diploma requires 18 credits or 6 courses worth 3 credits each. Courses are focused on developing students’ theory and knowledge integrated with hands-on practical skills. Our diploma program is set up to provide students with the instruction and practical opportunities to acquire the abilities needed to complete psychological assessments, write reports, and make helpful, reliable, and valid suggestions for the individuals or third parties seeking the assessments.

Environmental Science is the study of interactions within ecosystems, both terrestrial and aquatic. As the world changes, scientists in this field are paramount to proactively assessing the implications and mitigating risks to the fauna and flora inhabiting those environments.
In studying Environmental Science, you will partake in discourse around the nature and characteristics of the major environmental issues prevalent in such environments. The focus of learning in this topic is to concentrate on what causes these problems, and develop the resourcefulness to propose solutions.

Several of Environmental Science courses are offered in alternating years. The Environmental Science Course Rotation shows which courses are offered each year and which are offered every other year.

Religious Studies takes a deeper look at the human condition, examines the meaning of life through the lens of various eras and cultures, and works to understand how religion has essentially transformed societies from multifaceted angles.

The Bachelor of Management - Accounting program is an undergraduate program that spans for duration of four years offered at Concordia University of Edmonton and regulated by the Association of Chartered Professional Accountants. Accounting is a subject that deals with the entire process of collecting, recording, interpreting and carefully analyzing the financial details of an organization. Accounting deals with the facts and figures of a business and their effective management. Concordia University of Edmonton offers a four year bachelor degree program in the field of biology and the course allows students to specialize in the areas of ecology and evolutionary biology, cell and molecular biology and health/medical sciences.

The Graduate Diploma in Information Assurance is a 6 course/18 credit coursework program. Any coursework completed or graduate diploma received will count towards the Master of Information Systems Assurance Management (MISAM) program should you apply to the MISAM program and get accepted.

As a MISSM graduate, you may not apply for the MISAM degree; however, you may apply for and receive the Graduate Diploma in Information Assurance if you wish to broaden your assurance, information systems audit and governance knowledge.
