The Business Analytics Ontario College Graduate Certificate program focuses on two of the four types of analytics used in business - Descriptive Analytics and Diagnostics Analytics. Throughout the duration of your program, you will develop a strong foundation of technical skills needed for the truck and coach trade.
You will develop safe working practices in the use of tools, machinery, and equipment to complete the repair of engines, transmissions, drive trains and electrical/electronic components, and will apply basic communication, documentation, information technology, and computer skills to support a motive power-related work environment. To round out your training, you will be introduced to the basics of running a motive power business and relevant legal issues.
As a graduate of the certificate program, you will have an opportunity to receive automatic exemption from Level 1 of the Truck and Coach Technician apprenticeship in-school training should you choose to pursue that career pathway.

Program Outcomes

• Inspect, and test truck/coach operation and components in compliance with manufacturers' recommendations.
• Assess and diagnose basic truck/ coach engine systems and components.
• Inspect and test basic truck/coach electrical, electronic, fuel and emission systems and components.
• Assess and diagnose basic truck/coach drive train systems and components.
• Inspect and test basic truck/coach suspension, steering, wheel-end assemblies and brake systems and components.
• Disassemble and reassemble components to required specifications.
• Test and inspect truck/coach basic hydraulics and pneumatics systems and subsystems.
• Use information technology and computer skills to access data concerning repair procedures and manufacturers' updates.

• Perform soldering operations, welding and cutting using oxy fuel welding using GMAW.

This two-semester Quality Assurance Manufacturing and Management Ontario College Graduate Certificate will provide you with the knowledge and techniques to improve the delivery and quality of goods and services. This program focuses on the use of modern quality improvement and problem solving methods that support the achievement of performance excellence in manufacturing and associated business processes. A combination of theoretical and practical learning opportunities will prepare you for a variety of management and quality focused career opportunities.

Financial Technology
The field of financial technology is evolving as it responds to the challenges facing the 21st century financial sector. If you have a background in the computer industry, finance or other related fields, and are ready to attain in-depth competencies to help consumers and businesses track, manage, and facilitate their finances, this Ontario College Graduate Certificate program will be of interest to you. Through a variety of projects, case studies and interactive learning opportunities, and using current and relevant resources to support the latest trends in financial technology, you will develop the skills needed to help individuals and businesses secure their finances. This unique two-year graduate certificate program is geared to experienced internationally educated nurses holding a four-year bachelor's degree in nursing. The program will support you in acquiring essential nursing knowledge and skills required to practice within the Canadian healthcare system, with a focus on caring for seniors throughout the continuum of care. You will learn from experienced nursing faculty in active learning environments such as state-of-the-art nursing laboratories and immersive simulation suites. Emphasis is placed on development of professional practices including nursing assessment, intervention, care planning, and critical inquiry and evidence-informed decision making. The program is developed based on the College of Nurses of Ontario professional standards and entry to practice competencies for Registered Nurses. Learning of Canadian nursing practices will occur through a variety of evaluation methodologies including, scholarly writing, case studies, projects, presentations, and simulated patient encounters. You will apply theory to practice during field placement in diverse healthcare settings including medicine, surgery, complex continuing care, and long-term care. This program provides you with extensive hands-on clinical experience, including over 400 placement hours. In addition, in preparation for the nursing registration examination, you will complete NCLEX and OSCE style courses.

In just eight months, graduates of the Medical Office Practices certificate are prepared to confidently assume front-line roles within the growing community-based health services field. This unique program provides coursework in health care terminology, medical, dental and alternative office management, medical billing, insurance and bookkeeping procedures, and introductory medical transcription. This strong foundation of medical office procedures, coupled with courses in effective communication strategies and the latest computer applications ensures that graduates are in-demand in a wide variety of health care settings.

Students who successfully complete this certificate may apply to the second year of the Health Office Administration diploma with advanced standing.

Students that successfully complete the Medical Office Practices (1308) certificate program are eligible to apply to level 3 of the Health Office Administration (1047) diploma program. Space in the Health Office Administration program is limited and transfer applicants are not guaranteed a seat in the program. Depending on the number of applications and the number of available seats, a ranking process may be used.

This one-year, full-time, graduate certificate program provides students with a broad business and technical background in computer applications, database applications, data communications, programming, data design and systems analysis and design. This program provides the student with programming experience and the skills necessary to analyze and design Information Technology (IT) based solutions.In the Computer Applications Development program, students benefit from specialized courses taught by highly qualified industry experts. As a result, students should expect to have classes scheduled up until 8:00 p.m.The optional co-op stream includes one co-op work term.

With today’s technological advancements, Automotive Service Technicians need to possess skills in overall repair and maintenance, in addition to advanced technology. Conestoga’s Motive Power Technician – Automotive Service diploma program will provide you with the opportunity to develop skills in all of these areas.
