Students are provided with the theoretical and practical training to perform most basic welding techniques. At the completion of the program, students are eligible to test for welding tickets based on their level of expertise. It is expected that most of the graduates will be prepared to enter the workforce as a Welder following the successful completion of this program.

Students are exposed to topics including health and safety, blueprint reading and sketching, applied math, communication, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, introduction to computers, and all position pipe welding.

This program provides students with a degree-level education in business management with an applied focus for the automotive industry. Students learn current issues, trends and technologies that prepare them in adopting proactive approaches in identifying and responding to changes in the automotive industry. Instruction, lecture and discussion delivery promotes critical thinking and problem solving skills and classes will often include a guest speaker series with industry representatives in attendance. Labs are a substantial part of the program and the student run Auto Show is the largest lab of its kind in Canada. A strategically sequential co-op structure serves to maximize the link between theory and practice.

This program is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and skills needed to provide support services to people living at home, in long term care or acute care facilities, and to function as integral members of the health care team. Upon successful completion of this program, students learn to effectively communicate with clients, families and members of the health care team, and to provide safe and competent care for individual clients experiencing physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioural challenges. Personal Support Workers (PSWs) are unregulated health care providers who work under the supervision of a regulated health care professional or in the supported independent living environment under the direction of the client.

Students gain knowledge and hands-on experience to work in an adjunctive capacity as supportive personnel to qualified Speech-Language Pathologists and/or Audiologists in a variety of treatment settings. Students focus on conducting programming after the Speech-Language Pathologist or the Audiologist has completed the assessment and determined the therapy plan, as well as practicing the variety of other types of duties within this profession.

Based on a thorough understanding of physiological and functional speech/language and hearing disorders, students develop programming skills and learn intervention techniques to evoke and sustain communication behaviours. In addition, students identify the behaviour and environmental factors that can potentially support or erode the efficacy of therapy.

In this program, students focus on networking, operating systems, system administration, virtualization, and security related to new computer networks and the maintenance of existing computer networks. As an official Cisco Networking Academy partner, certified instructors assist students preparing for industry recognized certifications such as the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching. Students gain experience in problem solving, and effective oral and written communications through examination of current industry trends and requirements. Students acquire professional and entrepreneurial skills for industry and self-employment, as well as real life experience through participation in co-op work terms.

This program is designed to prepare university and college graduates from a wide range of educational and cultural backgrounds to work as managers in international and domestic businesses of various size. Students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to manage the human, physical, and financial resources associated with international trade. The first year covers fundamental business knowledge and skills, while more complex international situations and strategic areas are the focus of the second year. The course of study promotes teamwork and leadership skills, and enhances students’ capacity to work effectively in cross-cultural environments.

In this program, students focus on computer programming, web development and leveraging data to help organizations make meaningful business decisions. Throughout the program, students learn how to write code using a variety of languages such as Arduino, ASP.NET, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL and Swift. Students gain experience developing software for diverse platforms including embedded systems, desktop, mobile, and mainframe systems. In addition, students are exposed to advanced concepts including systems analysis, Business Intelligence (BI), application security, data structures, and game and simulation programming. With a strong emphasis on business and entrepreneurial values, students gain experience in problem solving, troubleshooting and systems building through a series of applied assignments, projects, and co-op work terms.

In this program, students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and professionalism necessary to conduct applied research in sectors such as marketing, tourism, media, government, public affairs, education, health, non-profit and social service agencies. Students are provided with hands-on experience and focus on the entire research process. Students formulate research questions, develop research designs, collect information from primary and secondary sources, perform data analysis, interpret results, communicate findings, and develop strategic recommendations. Additional features of the program include an emphasis on traditional and emerging qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the use of technology, effective communication processes, and adherence to professional and ethical standards.

This program specializes in creating interior environments in the context of professional interior design standards and practice. The curriculum emphasizes space planning and management, design process, research methodologies, socially responsible design, building systems, technological applications, contract documentation, and interior design presentation. Sustainable practices, entrepreneurship models, and regulatory codes are integrated throughout the curriculum. The curriculum is designed to meet current Council for Interior Design Accreditation's (CIDA) standards of delivery and content.
