Students are provided with the knowledge, skills and experience to succeed within the sport industry. The fundamentals of business administration are introduced through courses in accounting, marketing, technology, research, and entrepreneurship. Operations in sport organizations are explored through curriculum in fundraising, sponsorship, program planning, leagues, tournament organizing and scheduling, fitness, outdoor recreation and facilities. In addition to the theoretical components of the program, practical experience is obtained through community leadership opportunities and field placements.

This program specializes in creating interior environments in the context of professional interior design standards and practice. The curriculum emphasizes space planning and management, design process, research methodologies, socially responsible design, building systems, technological applications, contract documentation, and interior design presentation. Sustainable practices, entrepreneurship models, and regulatory codes are integrated throughout the curriculum. The curriculum is designed to meet current Council for Interior Design Accreditation's (CIDA) standards of delivery and content. Our program offers a uniquely collaborative learning experience which facilitates a hands-on model incorporating creative development, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and teaming protocols, providing our graduates with exceptional interior design knowledge and skills.

Feed your dreams! This one year program trains students to work in professional kitchens regionally, nationally, and internationally. Students learn fundamental food knowledge and develop skills of food preparation and presentation that prepares them for lifelong career success with strong industry connections. Students practice professionalism, culinary and management skills, safety and sanitation, nutrition, product knowledge and identification while applying their skills in a hands on learning environment. This program provides the in school portion of the cook apprenticeship program of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development.

In this program, students focus on computer programming, web development and leveraging data to help organizations make meaningful business decisions. Throughout the program, students learn how to write code using a variety of languages such as Arduino, ASP.NET, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL and Swift. Students gain experience developing software for diverse platforms including embedded systems, desktop, mobile, and mainframe systems. In addition, students are exposed to advanced concepts including systems analysis, Business Intelligence (BI), application security, data structures, and game and simulation programming. With a strong emphasis on business and entrepreneurial values, students gain experience in problem solving, troubleshooting and systems building through a series of applied assignments, projects, and co-op work terms.

Graduates of the program carry out human resources functions within the domestic and international business environments. Graduates are prepared to implement and evaluate plans for staffing, performance management, training, employee and labour relations, health and safety, and benefits and compensation administration functions. They are also able to apply communication, information technology, teamwork, leadership and organizational development strategies to support the human resources activities of an organization. They are able to contribute to a number of more complex functions supporting organizational effectiveness, including applying principles of financial analysis and control, collaborating in the design of an organization''s human resources plan, and in the preparation of an organization''s business plan.

Big Data allows users to visualize past, present, and future patterns by linking and presenting information in meaningful ways. Data Analytics offers deeper insight into the meaning of data sets by telling the story behind the information. This enables stakeholders to make more informed decisions, predict trends and better understand the needs and sentiments of customers. This program provides students with a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and applied skills. Students learn how to collect, curate, manipulate, encode, and store data sets so they can be analyzed and mined in such a way that they can be reused and repurposed to solve challenges that don't yet exist.

Students are provided with the theoretical and practical training to perform most basic welding techniques. At the completion of the program, students are eligible to test for welding tickets based on their level of expertise. It is expected that most of the graduates will be prepared to enter the workforce as a Welder following the successful completion of this program.

Students are exposed to topics including health and safety, blueprint reading and sketching, applied math, communication, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, introduction to computers, and all position pipe welding.

Students in this program prepare to work with engineers and construction project managers as part of a team constructing roads, bridges, sewers, water mains, and other infrastructure. Students determine data for cost estimation, perform materials testing, and assist in the administration of projects in the field. Teamwork and project-based learning are emphasized.

This program is common with the first four semesters of the Civil Engineering Technology program, and graduates may choose to continue into the third year of that program.
