Graduates of the program carry out human resources functions within the domestic and international business environments. Graduates are prepared to implement and evaluate plans for staffing, performance management, training, employee and labour relations, health and safety, and benefits and compensation administration functions. They are also able to apply communication, information technology, teamwork, leadership and organizational development strategies to support the human resources activities of an organization. They are able to contribute to a number of more complex functions supporting organizational effectiveness, including applying principles of financial analysis and control, collaborating in the design of an organization''s human resources plan, and in the preparation of an organization''s business plan.

In this program, students focus on computer programming, web development and leveraging data to help organizations make meaningful business decisions. Throughout the program, students learn how to write code using a variety of languages such as Arduino, ASP.NET, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL and Swift. Students gain experience developing software for diverse platforms including embedded systems, desktop, mobile, and mainframe systems. In addition, students are exposed to advanced concepts including systems analysis, Business Intelligence (BI), application security, data structures, and game and simulation programming. With a strong emphasis on business and entrepreneurial values, students gain experience in problem solving, troubleshooting and systems building through a series of applied assignments, projects, and co-op work terms.

This program prepares students for careers involving the development, evaluation, and support of IT security solutions. Building on previous educational experience, students learn to create cost effective and secure computing environments. Graduates are able to categorize, design, implement, and integrate technical and managerial safeguards to ensure the security of networked computer systems. An emphasis will be placed on interpersonal, organizational, technical, communication, and problem-solving skills applied to enhance the effective implementation of security in a business environment.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) computing paradigm radically changes the functionality and capabilities of computer systems. This greatly increases the possibilities of what businesses can do with this exciting new technology and is causing disruption across all industry sectors. Artificial Intelligence systems can think, learn and take self-directed action in order to maximize the chance of successfully achieving a goal without having to be explicitly programmed or human intervention.

This program provides students with the necessary background to become Artificial Intelligence (AI) system designers, programmers, implementers, or machine learning analysts. With a strong focus on applied skills, students learn how to design and implement supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning solutions for a variety of situations and solve AI challenges for a diverse set of industries. 

Advanced study in AI infrastructure, architecture, machine learning frameworks, reinforcement learning, neural networks, vision system, conversational AI and deep learning help students understand how to select, configure and apply the right technology tools to build the correct AI solution to solve a given challenge.

This program is designed to provide training in the theoretical and practical aspects of modern marketing communications. Graduates will be able to perform advertising/communications functions using a variety of media techniques.

Student centered faculty focus on delivering innovative curriculum, industry expertise and employability skills in the pillars of the hospitality industry; entrepreneurial thinking, accounting and finance, marketing and sales, food and beverage, accommodations and human resources management.

This program offers the student an introduction to college studies, with emphasis on critical thinking and analytical skills developed while studying courses in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Many students use the General Arts and Science program as a transition to further studies at either the college or university level. Students can also choose to continue from the one-year certificate to the two-year diploma in General Arts and Science.

The complexity of industry's labour and entrepreneurial needs requires managers who can work with in a variety of settings and in cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams. This program fills that need by providing project management training to candidates who require project management skills to ensure new ventures have potential for successful delivery. The program covers technical, leadership, business, and strategic management subjects with an emphasis on understanding and managing change as applied to project management.

In this program,students experience a unique blend of health care and business management. Through theory and practical experience in labs/clinics, students learn to competently dispense eyeglasses, contact lenses and sub-normal vision devices, and learn about basic refraction. Students gain  a strong foundation of ocular sciences in optics and anatomy,  and are provided the expertise necessary to layout and edge lenses for frame insertion, as well as repair, customize and modify eyewear to the patient/clients' needs. Emphasis is also placed on professional services. Through critical thinking, problem solving, and entrepreneurial skills, students learn to  how to establish and operate a small business, how to use effective sales techniques, and enhance communication and interpersonal skills in order to be successful in the optical retail environment.

Upon successful completion of the academic and co-operative education semesters, students are eligible to write the national registration examinations which allow them, if successful, to practice in Canada as a Registered Optician.
