The Human Sciences - International Management (DEC) program is designed for those seeking the acquisition of fundamental and versatile skills necessary for the pursuit of university studies. During this training, students will acquire a general education while learning the basic principles of management. The Arts, Literature and Communication program is a pre-university program for those who wish to experience media production while enriching their general knowledge in order to better understand and appreciate the different media.

During their DEC in Arts, Letters and Communication - Media, students take part in the vibrant cultural life of Montreal by visiting institutions as well as unusual places. In addition, they are called upon to participate in media events while taking advantage of the city's intercultural environment. These experiences allow them to exercise their critical thinking and broaden their horizons on the impact of the media in our society. The Media option is created especially for students who wish to develop communication skills and open several doors for university.

The development of all these skills aims to engage students in order to become active agents of change within today's and tomorrow's society.

In the Specialization in Business Intelligence program, students will learn about a company’s different departments and how they interact. They will learn about the design and modelling of an information system within the context of business intelligence.

This program will help students perfect their understanding of elements that interact with databases, such as the language SQL. They will also come to understand the challenges involved in data collection and learn how to practise data integration, analysis and visualization using business intelligence tools such as Microsoft’s BI suite.

This program will enable students to develop skills that will be applied to meet complex organizational needs and sustain an innovative culture.

The Business management program (AEC) is designed for students interested in all aspects of business management and sales, either of a commercial establishment or a company.

Business management technicians are responsible for managing a business or supervising a sales team. The Business Management program was therefore conceived to teach students the main responsibilities of a professional in the field, including managing sales personnel, setting and meeting sales objectives, promoting and marketing products and services, and providing customer service.

This Video Editing AEC course teaches the basics of television, compositing, audio mixing and the whole process of editing, from acquiring media to “mastering”. When you have graduated, you will be able to use your creativity as a junior or senior video editor for public, corporate and web television. You will be the editor who is most up to the challenge!

Beyond working with our AVID Media composer certified teacher to learn this key software for the industry, students of the Video Editing course will learn to master the Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Final cut.

Today's digital and viral video landscape has created a massive need for video editors. As a graduate, you will be fully qualified to move up the ladder quickly, from production assistant to senior editor, and work on HD television programs and digital films. With a core curriculum of study, the Hotel Management Technique program opens the doors to a wider array of careers in Québec, Canada or abroad. This program is unique in Québec.

This program focuses on the essential knowledge of hotel management. Teachers from the industry provide all the keys to success to enter into the labor market. The program also offers an internship, participation in several events plus practical experience including: service in La Classe restaurant dining room.

Students in this program may participate in the Job Fair organized by the International School of Hotel Management and Tourism, and eventually find a job in the industry.

LaSalle College’s Managing Senior-Citizen Homes program is designed to keep pace with the projected development and consolidation in the senior citizen housing network, a rapidly-growing industry.

According to the Institut de la statistique du Québec, the number of people above age 65 will double over the next 20 years. Consequently, the demand for retirement homes will increase significantly. Many large-scale projects are currently in the works and there is high demand for workers. According to recent statistics*, 1000 positions per year will be added within the next 20 years.
