The Early Childhood Education Program (AEC) is intended to train childcare educators to work with children from 0 to 12 years old. During their training, students will learn how to meet a child’s basic, psychological, as well as educational needs.

Students will also learn to establish a partnership with parents and partners in the field to understand the importance of discussing the necessary intervention with a child. The program will allow students to develop and further their professional knowledge, to be qualified under the Règlement sur les garderies and the Règlement sur les centres de la petite enfance. This program allows students to find work right after they graduate.

Since 2012, aspiring child care workers can gain a better understanding of the profession by collaborating to the success of the LaSalle des petits Daycare. They can observe and learn from the daycare’s work environment and, as a result, be better prepared for the job market.

In collaboration with popular cosmetic companies, LaSalle College offers a professional aesthetic training program, officially recognized by the ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur.

As the only school in Québec to use the Physiodermie products, LaSalle College gives its students the opportunity to work with three different product lines in order to diversify their training and to meet the needs of the market. In this Aesthetic course, you will learn how to use equipment and products geared towards facial care, makeup, manicures, pedicures and wax hair removal.
