You’ll learn how to read blueprints and plan and implement welding and fabrication processes. This includes the cutting and layout through to fitting and fabrication, as well as common welding processes such as shielded metal arc, flux cored arc, and gas metal arc. Our program pairs in-depth coursework with hands-on welding and fabricating experience in order to get you job-ready.

The Community Pharmacy Assistant program is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to be employed as a pharmacy assistant in a community pharmacy setting.

Areas of study include anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, communication skills, pharmacy law and ethics, pharmacy calculations, non-sterile compounding techniques, long term care pharmacy, receiving and entering a prescription, pharmacy software, inventory and third-party billing. Interpersonal communication skills is developed and evaluated along with other related skills in laboratory sessions on campus and during the practicum period.
