Accounting basics are central to good business. With this program, you’ll learn intermediate accounting knowledge to assist your clients, such as how to prepare and present financial statements and skills in marketing, payroll, computing, and accounts receivable and payable. Our program also includes a work practicum where you’ll have the opportunity to put your knowledge into action while networking with influential people. Working with steel can help you build a meaningful career in a number of settings. Steel fabrication includes assembling, fitting and installing steel or other metal components for buildings, bridges, boilers, pressure vessels and similar structures and products. You'll learn how to cut, form, bend, assemble, erect and weld metals. With training in steel fabrication, you'll make a great addition to any fabrication team specializing in your area of interest.

Structural experts plan with durability in mind. They assist in the design and construction of building systems and perform site inspections and testing. You’ll learn about steel, timber and reinforced concrete design, soils and materials testing, and quantity surveying. Our two-year program and industry work experience also provides general communication and mathematics skills for making your mark on the business world. The Educational Support program prepares learners for a career in educational settings supporting students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, sensory or physical disabilities and behavioural challenges. This program will prepare learners to be part of a multidisciplinary team that supports students with diverse learning needs while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment that promotes students’ well-being.

Within this two-year diploma program, learners also participate in experiential and applied learning opportunities that allow further integration of theory and application.

Automotive Technicians know how to keep fuel efficient, clean running, high performing vehicles on the road. Through a blend of classroom and practical work, you'll learn how to diagnose, service, and repair complex components using mechanical skills and electronic diagnostic equipment. The Building Engineering Technology program is designed to train students in the analysis, design, drawing, detailing, and presentation of commercial building projects. The first year of training covers engineering technology basics such as engineering science, materials technology, surveying, and computer-aided drafting. Many courses are common with other technology programs and may be used for credit transfer. In the second year, students specialize in subjects that relate more specifically to building engineering.

Throughout the program, students will learn and apply the knowledge and skills in a real, practical, and simulated environment through lectures, extensive hands-on activities, and individual or team projects.
