This program will provide you with the necessary instruction and practical experience to challenge the G2, G2-L (Liquid Propane Endorsement) Gas License and OBM Block 1 (Oil Burner Mechanic). Our Justice Studies: Corrections program is designed to provide students the knowledge and skills required for individuals aspiring to a career as a Correctional Officer or other related fields of criminal justice. Everything we teach meets current industry standards, and our students are trained in areas of intervention, prevention, rehabilitative strategies and reintegration, preparing you to work in a diverse variety of institutional and community settings.

If you choose to continue your education in criminology or other related fields, your NBCC diploma is a great foundation. Graduates can, for example, apply their respective two-year NBCC diploma to be credited for up to two years of a four-year university degree making a seamless transition from college to university. Applied Manufacturing Methods is a post-graduate program. The program offers a broad range of skill-based training in all aspects of manufacturing processes, including design, computer modelling, 3D printing, reverse engineering, quality control and quality assurance in addition to the skills in communication, documentation, computer application, information technology, critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork to support the manufacturing activities of an organization.
 
This program provides students with up-to-date manufacturing techniques and processes with a focus on computer modelling and supporting technologies. Students will further gain a strong understanding of contemporary quality control, quality assurance and continuous improvement methodologies, and safety practices and procedures. Through classroom theory and hands-on activities, students will learn and practice their skills using industry-standard tools and equipment. 

Medical Laboratory Assistants interact with patients and the public. You’ll learn how to collect and prepare specimens for analysis, and perform data entry and clerical services in the lab. Our program offers on site learning in hospital laboratory settings. With the increase of New Brunswick’s aging population, skilled Medical Laboratory Assistants to perform phlebotomy and prepare specimens for analysis and tests are in demand.

Keep the wheels in motion. Our two to three year Mechanical Engineering Technology program trains you to provide technical support and services in the design, development, maintenance and testing of machines, components, tools, heating and ventilation systems. In your first year, you'll learn the basics of mechanical engineering technology. In your second year, you'll learn advanced machine design, computer-aided drawings and specifications, building systems including HVAC, and engineering manufacturing operations and processes.

Machinists are skilled craftspersons who use precision metal cutting and grinding machines to fabricate high quality parts. They understand the methods behind using a variety of tools to measure, cut, drill, form, shape, grind and finish metal, plastic or similar materials. You’ll learn how to produce parts based on engineered drawings and how to diagnose mechanical malfunctions. In a heightened world of industrial production, businesses rely on machinists to maximize overall performance and output.

Networks connect businesses with the buying world. You’ll learn how to design, implement, troubleshoot and administer secure networks and internetworks, as well as advanced skills in network and internet operating systems, network infrastructure, administration, and security. As electronic communication continues to dominate industries, business leaders rely upon network administrators for success.

Please note: Students who have successfully completed the Network Support program have the opportunity to enter directly into the second year of the Network Administration program.

The Social Service Community Worker program prepares learners for a career in the social and human services fields. By working with and supporting the well-being of individuals, families, and communities, graduates can bring about meaningful change within society.

Learners acquire knowledge and ability in the areas of human development and relations, family dynamics and support, interpersonal communications, counseling, program planning, social policy and legislation, and advocacy. In this program, there’s a focus on how to effectively intervene and work with a diverse clientele who may be experiencing poverty, domestic violence, social, emotional, behavioral or mental health trauma, or other challenging life events.
