Co-op experience
Following eight months of classroom instruction, eligible students will have the opportunity to participate in a four-month cooperative education placement. Note that this is a competitive process and only qualified students are accepted. Working in the marketing field, you’ll apply your in-class learning and gain valuable work experience that may boost your career—and help you land a great job.

International Business Management
The professors who teach Sheridan's International Business courses are personally experienced in international business. They are continually updating the program so that it accurately reflects current international market conditions, challenges and regulations.

Co-op experience
Eligible Co-op students can acquire invaluable work experience in the international business field through a work-term cooperative education assignment following completion of the academic portion of the program. This training experience gives you an ideal way to apply what you have learned in class and explore different career paths.

Get a well-rounded architectural education

Gain the practical skills and fundamental architectural knowledge you need to enter the workplace after graduation. You'll study building code standards, materials, project planning and more. Skills you'll learn include: 2D and 3D Computer-aided Design and Drafting (CADD), Building Information Modeling (BIM), visual problem-solving, preparation of contract documents and specifications and envelope detailing.

In just two years, you can acquire the core skills necessary to work in the exciting field of human resources! First, you'll build a strong base of general business knowledge that helps you understand the many ways human resources contribute to organizational success. You'll then focus on fundamental HR specialities, including talent recruitment, health and safety, performance management and more.

Learn the general principles and applications that modern accountants rely on. You’ll gain experience using spreadsheets and databases. You’ll also learn to use accounting and tax software programs such as Sage 50, MS Access and Profile.

At Sheridan, we've applied interior design principles to our own learning environments. Our studios are designed to look and feel like professional spaces, rather than classrooms. Interior design is a mobile computing program, which means you'll have unlimited access to software, class lecture notes, PowerPoint presentations, reading lists, assignment outlines, and all other course resources.

Sheridan’s marketing instructors bring passion and industry experience into the classroom while ensuring curriculum is constantly updated to meet current industry demands.

Specialize or diversify your marketing knowledge
In the first two years of your studies, you’ll build a solid foundation in general business fundamentals. Beginning in Year 3, you can choose from a range of electives, allowing you to specialize in one area of marketing or branch out across various fields. You’ll also put your new skills to work during a mandatory internship and optional co-op.

Today’s work world has changed. Top employability skills now include critical thinking, collaboration across networks and leading by influence, communication and entrepreneurship. Our small classes and experiential learning approach promote the development of these skills through constant interaction with your professors and peers.

Internship & Co-op
The Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs all include a one-semester internship where students will fulfill many of the program learning outcomes and become prepared for future employment. After the completion of a minimum of 60 credits, students may also apply to participate in the BBA Co-op program, which allows students to complete three additional work terms to a total of four work terms. Enrolment in the Co-op program is limited through an additional Co-op application process.

Co-op/Internship allows students to take ownership and responsibility for their own growth and development through practice in real-life employment environments. Our work terms are scenarios where students can apply their critical, creative, and reflective thinking in a way that maximizes their workplace experiences and preparedness for full-time employment after graduation.

Sheridan's BBA Co-op program has built-in flexibility for students to select their path and schedule for Co-op work terms, may lead to paid employment during the work term, and further supports students to develop their entrepreneurial thinking skills and capacity for responsible risk-taking in a complex workplace environment.

Students receive in-class and 1-on-1 career education support to help prepare for their Internship or Co-op work terms. The Co-op/Internship component is delivered by Sheridan's Co-operative Education Office, which facilitates over 1,800 Co-op/Internship work terms per year Sheridan-wide. This program prepares you to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control a project to ensure its success. That's true whether your area of interest is the arts, community or social services, business or government administration. If you're a seasoned professional, this program provides the opportunity to learn new skills to advance your career faster.

The program gives you a comprehensive foundation in project management and organizational management that applies to not-for-profit, for-profit and government organizations of all sizes. The activities, cases and projects are focused on small–medium sized projects, and are uniquely non-technical in their objectives and learning outcomes.

Under the direction of professors who are both outstanding educators and well-experienced in the project management field, you'll learn through:

• Extensive assigned teams and collaborative activities.
• Your initiative engaging the local community throughout the program.
• The Capstone experience working with an actual charity, government, or business organization on a real project that is valuable to them.

Cooperative Education
You have the option to work for one work term at the end of the program’s eight-month academic portion to gain further valuable real-world experience that is highly regarded by employers. This paid co-op/unpaid internship experience allows you to explore different career paths and apply classroom learning to additional actual business situations.

Advertising - Account Management
Sheridan's Advertising – Account Management graduate certificate program, you’ll learn to plan, develop and create complete digital and traditional advertising campaigns. You’ll graduate with confidence, ready to contribute your skills to a professional advertising agency. Throughout this program, students also will learn to:
