Nurses play a pivotal role in everyday healthcare by working hard to positively impact the lives of countless individuals in need. Accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing, Trent’s B.Sc.N. offers aspiring nurses the option of pursuing either a collaborative or compressed degree with an emphasis on a holistic approach to healthcare, spanning a variety of nursing contexts. Trent’s P.N. to B.Sc.N. program enables students to fast track through the program in less than two years, after completing a two-semester Post-Bridge Practical Nursing to Bachelor of Science in Nursing bridge at George Brown College.

Law & Policing Specialization
A specialization in Law & Policing provides you with a greater focus on the application of forensic scientific principles and techniques within the Canadian legal system, crime scenes, and policing. Anthropology is the study of the human experience, from our earliest ancestors to our contemporary digital society. Psychology is the study of human behaviour, the brain, and the mind. The Specialization in Psychological Development is open to students in the single- and joint major Honours degree programs and is intended for students interested in pursuing a career in developmental psychology and associated fields (e.g., graduate work with a specialization in developmental psychology, health care, social work, recreation or developmental services, child protection). This specialization provides students with course options designed for an in-depth examination of theoretical, empirical, methodological, and practical approaches to development related topics. Students who have fulfilled the requirements for an Honours degree in Psychology may graduate with a Specialization in Psychological Development

IESS at Trent brings together the principles of both Indigenous Knowledge and Western science to explore complex topics such as climate change, community sustainability, and Indigenous health and environment through a cross-cultural, transdisciplinary approach. This degree also offers an additional layer of exploration: co-op work terms. How the Program Works:-
The first two years of your degree take place at Trent, where you’ll pursue your choice of 14 degree options. In third year, you’ll transfer to the coastal city of Swansea in Wales to complete three years of law studies, earning your Bachelor of Laws degree. Once your LL.B. is complete, you’ll return to Trent to complete your Honours degree credentials. By simultaneously taking several Canadian Law courses in your final year at Trent, you’ll be well-prepared for the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) exams, enabling you to take the required steps to practice law in Canada.
