Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes. It is also the profession that applies the accumulated knowledge of this science to practical problems. Psychologists and their work can be classified into three general categories: Research Psychology, Applied Psychology, and Clinical/Counselling Psychology.

Geologists study the composition, structure, processes, and history of the Earth, as well as the distribution of mineral and energy resources. There are many overlapping fields of study for geologists including: Economic Geology, Petroleum Geology, Environmental Geology, Geochemistry, Hydrogeology, Mineralogy, Crystallography and Petrology, Paleontology, Sedimentology and Stratigraphy as well as Structural Geology and Tectonics.

Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms: bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa and algae. Programs provide a comprehensive study of modern microbiology ranging from environmental to medical to molecular microbiology. Many courses include laboratory components to develop skills in microbiological techniques. The cooperative work-study (co-op) program provides experience in government, private sector and research laboratories.

The Leadership and Organizations major draws on foundational courses in organizational behaviour and organizational theory to build insight into successful leadership.

After graduation, many students continue in their accounting studies and pursue one of the following professional designations: Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified General Accountant (CGA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA.)
