Students can complete the pre-medicine requirements for the University of Saskatchewan MD Degree at the University of Regina. Students must complete a 4-year baccalaureate preparatory degree to be eligible to apply to the College of Medicine. As well, students will be required to write the MCAT for admission.  The most up-to-date requirements and notice of upcoming changes will be posted on the College of Medicine website at www.usask.ca/medicine.

Students looking to apply to medical schools other than the U of S are able to complete their pre-med requirements here, but should check the various medical schools for their particular admission requirements.  These students are welcome to consult with our advisors to ensure they get everything they need. Pre-medicine courses completed at the University of Regina can be used toward a variety of programs at the University of Regina.

The University of Regina offers an exciting inter-disciplinary research-oriented graduate degree program in Gerontology. The study of gerontology (the comprehensive study of aging and the problems and opportunities of older adults) is becoming increasingly important because it addresses one of the most significant demographic issues confronting our society today, namely the increasing proportion of the population that is over the age of 65. Students with professional degrees, (e.g., medicine, social work, physical therapy, nursing, optometry, etc.) as well as undergraduate degrees in kinesiology, psychology, health studies, health science, biology or other related health disciplines are encouraged to apply for the fall semester. The program is coordinated by the Centre on Aging and Health, University of Regina and involves the collaboration of the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies and the Faculty of Social Work. Students can work towards an M.A. or an M.Sc. degree depending on the nature of their thesis research. The program aims to provide research training and specialized gerontological knowledge to health professionals and to students wishing to pursue doctoral studies and research careers. The program aims to address both the physiological and psychosocial aspects of aging.

The Department of Computer Science offers programs of study involving interdepartmental, multi-institutional and inter-institutional collaboration that has attracted faculty members and graduate students from all over the world. Students may pursue full-time or part-time graduate study leading towards the MSc and PhD degrees.

MSc in Computer Science - Human-Centred Computing
A fully-qualified student may complete a Master's in Human-Centred Computing by undertaking 30 credits of coursework. Students in this route who are interested in pursuing the Co-op Designation must complete CS 700, 730, 731, 732, 733, 734, 735, and 736 before they can undertake any co-op work terms.

The Levene Master of Administration in Leadership (M. Admin. Leadership) is a 30 credit hour program and can be completed in two years if taken full-time. The Levene M.Admin Leadership will apply your management style to theory to lead employees effectively and strategically. You will expand your expertise in strategy, governance and leadership through courses focused on organizational design, continuous learning and conflict resolution.

Co-operative Education Program
For students who are entering the Master of Administration in Leadership program in their early career with limited professional experience, Co-op work placements offer an opportunity to apply principles learned in class in a working environment.  Co-op students also gain valuable workplace experience proven to add value to the classroom experience for themselves and other students.  The Co-op route also provides an opportunity for early career MAdmin students to secure management level jobs that they might not otherwise have access to. Students must have completed at least four classes, have no failing grades, and normally obtained a minimum CGPA of 75% before applying for co-op.

The Master of Education in Adult Education and Human Resource Development degree program (MEd AHRD) is intended to prepare individuals for specialized educational roles in organizations involved in training & development, and/or adult training institutions.  Students will be able to select courses in both or either the Adult Education or the Human Resource Development streams, within one combined program.

The program emphasis is on water and wastewater treatment, solid and hazardous waste management, air quality management, industrial air pollution control, groundwa ter contamination, geotechnical engineering, transportation, sustainability and urban development, risk assessment, environmental modeling/simulation/optimization, and energy & environment.

The Teaching, Learning, Leadership (TLL) is a course-only Master's degree program that was designed by teachers for teachers. Nine out of the ten courses are designed to be taken in any order for maximum flexibility. All of the classes are offered online. Most are also offered face-to-face so students can opt to take all of their program online, or a combination of online and face-to-face. There is one foundational course in Curriculum and Instruction (EC&I 804) and Educational Leadership (EDL 819) to provide a broad overview of these two areas. There are 6 elective courses, enabling students choice.  Students can select elective courses to create a "specialty", for example, opting for leadership (EDL)  electives provides an in-depth experience in one particular area OR students can take a range of courses to suit their individual professional goals. Given the importance and relevancy of anti-oppressive and Indigenous education, the program template offers a suite of anti-oppressive and indigenous education classes, ensuring every student has a learning experience in this area. The final course is a capstone seminar class that will be a culminating experience to bring both a reflective and forward looking perspective to round out the coursework and look beyond this degree.

Start small and walk before you run with the Diploma of Business Administration (DipBA). The DipBA is a two-year program that provides an overview of all areas of business administration, and courses completed in the DipBA can be used towards the course requirements for the four-year BBA if you decide to transition into a degree.

This course will begin to map the terrain that is Pop Culture. The changing ground of pop culture has been mapped by different theoretical and methodological approaches in ways that are not historically fixed. This course provides an introduction to the theories, practices and evolving legacy of pop culture.

The study of anthropology gives you a deep, useful, cross-cultural understanding of human beings. You will gain powerful and sometimes surprising insights into insights into the way we humans across the globe organize and understand our lives. What are “different cultures”? How can we learn to understand power relations in various societies? We approach such questions by looking at patterns and changes and comparing them. This leads us to think about the ways we position ourselves in the world and our environments.
