The Communication, Media, and Film and Political Science combined program allows students to study and explore a wide range of topics in both disciplines. Through political science, students will study power – who holds it, how it is exercised, how you can influence and gain access to power, and how our lives are influenced by politically important institutions and individuals. When combined with communication, media, and film, you can be at the centre of exploring the most dynamic changes in our increasingly complex media landscape as well as the broader cultural, social economic, and political implications of contemporary and emergent technologies.

You will learn how the universe works—from the fundamental forces of nature to their effects on matter and the environment around us. We offer lots of opportunities for hands-on learning, and the ability to customize your degree to your interests through optional courses or by combining your physics degree with another discipline.

Become an effective advocate with this program that combines social work and disability studies. You’ll get lots of hands-on experience in the field and have the opportunity to join clubs. This is a program where you can learn to make a difference in the world.

Disabilities Studies provides students with the knowledge and experience-based practice they can use to advocate for:

• Social justice,
• Anti-oppressive needs, and
• Accessibility for people with disabilities.

Through course work and community experience placements in disabilities settings, students learn advocacy skills to prepare for work in academic, health, social service and government organizations.

French Studies
Get a leg up on the competition for careers in the federal or provincial civil service, among other jobs, by mastering this official language. Our faculty come from around the world, infusing the program with an international flavour. We keep class sizes small, guaranteeing you lots of one-on-one attention.

The course-based Master of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering (Automotive Option) will prepare graduates for leadership positions within the automotive and manufacturing industries. You will study and live in Canada for approximately 16 consecutive months and take a variety of topics through eight prescribed courses. These courses are selected by academic administration and will vary from year to year.

The goal of the program is to provide you with the opportunity to extend your understanding of automotive engineering principles, with an emphasis on operation, design, materials and manufacturing along with some aspects of business and management.

You will combine what you learn in the classroom with practical application so that you are ready for the world of opportunities that will follow your university studies.

Co-op
The MEng-Mechanical Engineering (Automotive Option) has an optional co-op portion. Co-op is an opportunity for students to work in an automotive related company during one semester of school.
All students will apply for co-op, however it is a competitive program and we may not have a placement opportunity for all students. 

• The Master of Applied Economics and Policy program is designed to offer a unique combination of courses that will prepare you for work in the specialized field of economic policy
• As a graduate, you will be prepared to immediately secure a position in the working world.
• The program places special emphasis in preparing you to utilize large amounts of data available to professionals in government and business to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government polices and business projects. 
• Through a multidisciplinary approach to policy analysis involving economic courses, business courses, communication workshops and an exciting research project, you will have all of the tools and experiences needed to begin a career as an Economist.

Begin your journey to an exciting career in mechanical engineering by developing a solid foundation in machine design, CAD, and thermofluids with applications in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and materials engineering. Available specializations include automotive, aerospace, environmental, and materials. Our facilities include a dedicated project courtyard where students develop their hands on capabilities. The faculty promotes connections with industry through projects, courses, and workplace co-op opportunities.

The only one of its kind in Ontario, MBA-Professional Accounting Specialization, accredited by Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario), prepares its graduates to succeed as accountants and business professionals in a multitude of careers.

From public accounting to industry or the government and not for profit, MBA-PAS is designed to develop technical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills as well as critical thinking and professional decision-making ability, all required to excel in complex work environments.

Students can complete the program within 12 months. Students graduating from the program will hold an MBA degree and be ready to write CPA Ontario’s Common Final Exam (CFE). Fully accredited by CPA Canada, MBA-PAS students who have successfully completed the program will be able to write the CFE without having to go through any further preparation.

MBA-PAS provides domestic and international students, holding business or non-business undergraduate degrees*, with the ability to pursue a career in accounting, creating a classroom environment where synergies from diverse backgrounds contribute to the education of a well-rounded Chartered Professional Accountant.
