The Master of Science in Operation Theatre Technology is a two year degree program designed to provide in depth knowledge & impart skills to the student to assist in preparation of operation theatre before & during an elective or emergency surgery. The post-graduate students must take part in seminars, short topic discussions, case discussions, journal club presentations and clinical postings. The academic training will include lab work, experimental work and dissertation. Chitkara School of Health Sciences (CSHS) has introduced a 4-Year full-time program in Optometry, which deals with the examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system.

The program is envisaged to develop a multipurpose ophthalmic manpower at paramedical level. The program will enable a student to become a competent person in providing service as an Optometrist at Tertiary eye care center, specialty eye clinic such as low vision clinic, orthoptic clinic, contact lens clinic, Optical outlets, can also provide Ophthalmic Assistant to the community as an Community optometrist, and can also provide services at Multinational Vision Care Companies.
