It Prepares graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives at a basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. It also develops nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of facilitating individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor, and manager in a clinical/public health setting.

This is a 3 year postgraduate program recognised by the Medical Council of India. This involves rotational postings in the departments of Physiology and General Medicine. The course involves an in depth study of physiology of the different systems of the body and the application of this knowledge in understanding the pathophysiology of disease.

The department is well equipped with state of art laboratories where the trainee physiologists can hone their practical skills. Theory is taught in the form of lectures, case discussions, journal clubs and seminars. The student is trained to teach physiology to undergraduate students under expert supervision. The course provides an excellent academic and research experience to the student. It facilitates development of communication and pedagogical skills, which help the student become a teacher par excellence in the subject.

Our Aim through this course is to create Community physicians in Ayurveda. It focuses on patient happiness in addition to their overall health and wellness. Students are taught techniques in prevention of diseases through Swasthavritta & Yoga . The curriculum gives equal importance to practical exposure as well as to various social activities like awareness lectures and camps to highlight the role of Ayurveda in healing and prevention of diseases and lifestyle disorders. Through awareness camps the students elucidate the importance of balanced ayurvedic diet so as to develop a healthy and happy community.

Doctor of Medicine in Swasthavritta (Social and Preventative Medicine) is a Non – Clinical course. The program provides training on the principles and practice of Social and Preventive Medicine at both the personal and communal levels. Social and Preventative Medicine in School of Ayurveda gives elaborate guidelines and regimens for maintaining and promoting health of the individual and the community integrating modern concepts with principles of Ayurveda.

This is a postgraduate program of three years duration recognised by the Medical Council of India. It includes rotational postings in the departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Neonatology, General Medicine , General Surgery, Radiology and Pathology. The student is involved in actively managing cases in the Out Patient Department, wards , Labour Ward and Operation Theatres under expert supervision.

In addition to this the student attends and treats patients under expert supervision in the various Speciality Clinics run by the department, namely Cancer Screening and Oncology Clinic, Family Planning OPD, Infertility Clinic, High Risk Pregnancy OPD, Foetal Medicine Clinic, STD Clinic and Adolescent Health Clinic. The student besides gaining proficiency in routine Gynaecologic and Obstetric surgical procedures, is also trained in neonatal resuscitation. These skills are further honed by practicing in our state of art Simulation Laboratory.

M. Tech (Instrumentation Engineering) is a unique inter-disciplinary two-year post-graduate program intended to equip students with knowledge of instrumentation, process control and automation of various industries. The course provides a sound foundation and trains students to ‘model’ problems or ‘simulate’ processes varying across many disciplines in science and engineering. It educates and trains students for a diverse range of theoretical skills and practical experience of real-time applications and design experience. The program covers courses like computational tools, measurement, control, automation, and IoT. The second-year offers students several fields of specialization through elective courses. The program culminates with a computational, automation, control, Signal and Image processing and IoT dissertation project in their second year. Students are encouraged to develop Industrial collaborative projects.

This course is common to all the students. This course includes an update of the Basic Sciences such as Biomechanics & Applied Physiotherapy, Biophysics, etc for improving abilities in functional diagnosis and clinical reasoning. This course also includes Allied Subjects such as Management, Ethics & Teaching Technology. 

This course includes the study of any one Specialty selected from above & an independent research project/ dissertation, preferably based on the Specialty.

This is a 3 year post graduate program recognised by the Medical Council of India. The program includes rotational postings in the Departments of Microbiology, General Medicine, TB and Chest Medicine and Dermatology.

The student gains a good practical experience in our Microbiology and state of art Serology Laboratories. The close collaboration of the department with National AIDS Control Organisation and National Tuberculosis Control Program, gives the student the opportunity to participate in various Public Health Programmes.

The department supervises the Hospital Infection Control Committee, and issues guidelines regarding antibiotic use in the hospital. This exposure will train the candidate in application of knowledge of Microbiology in the hospital setting and in industry. This practical training is backed by a robust teaching program , where the subject with all its sub-specialities is taught via lectures, seminars, journal clubs and case discussions. The experience gained by the student facilitates the development of excellent laboratory skills and sound judgement in the practice of Microbiology and all its sub-specialities.

MBA in Pharmaceutical Management is a 2-year postgraduate degree course which focuses at producing skilled professionals for managerial level positions in areas like Drug Manufacturing, Production Management, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Brand Management etc.

• Familiarize with the molecular and genetic tools used to analyze genomes, modify genetic material and techniques for modifying organisms to produce desired products.
•  Plan for and manage formulation and execution of protocols and innovative technologies and/or products.
• Enlighten issues of forensic and genetic identity with case studies.
• Educate basic philosophical and ethical considerations regarding genetic data, genetic manipulation and biosafety issues.
• Explore emerging technologies, innovations, and new products in the field of genomics and proteomics.

This is a postgraduate program of 3 years tenure , recognised by the Medical Council of India. The course includes rotational postings in the Departments of Psychiatry, General Medicine and Paediatrics. The student is actively involved in the process of evaluation and plan of treatment for a given case under supervision of expert teachers in the field. The nuances of Psychiatric History taking and Counselling are learnt by the student both by observation and role play. The student is exposed to a wide variety of cases in the Psychiatric Out Patient Department and wards.

Our De-addiction Clinic, Depression Clinic and Social Outreach activities, further widen the scope of learning for the postgraduate student. This training is backed by a sound grounding of theory of Psychiatry imparted via the medium of lectures, case discussions, seminars, journal clubs and role play. This program aims to produce socially conscious Psychiatrists with excellent clinical and practical skills . They will have empathy for the patient and work towards improved social acceptance of psychiatric patients and their rehabilitation in Society.
