The Animation and Motion Graphics Department at UID aims at providing top notch Industry standard training in the various facets of animation. Starting from traditional 2D classical animation to the new-age VR animation, every aspect of the subject is covered. The course prepares the student to master one’s skills and understanding so that they can choose any career in the production pipeline, be it in the pre-production, production or post-production level. Independent film-making and commercial film-making both are an integral part of the training.

The B.Des Fashion Design Programme focuses on holistic, dynamic and an individuality driven approach to prepare creative professionals for the fashion industry. B,Optometry is an undergraduate 4 year program designed to impart knowledge and skills needed to become a qualified optometrist. In this vision care science program students are trained on various eye equipment (including lenses and spectacles) which is imbued with the idea of improving the vision of the human eye and remove all kinds of obstacles of sight which an individual may experience. The demand of optometrists in India and abroad is continuously increasing. They make a health assessment, offer clinical advice, prescribe spectacles or contact lenses and refer patients for further treatment, when necessary.Offering primary eye care, optometry is a challenging, stimulating and exceptionally rewarding profession that offers excellent opportunities for work in India and abroad.Department of optometry has collaboration with Dayal Optical, Manthan Eye Institute, Arunodya Desert Eye Hospital Himalaya Optical and Indira Gandhi Eye Hospitals for clinical and research engagements.

Master in Medical Laboratory Sciences is a Post graduate 2 years academic program, with 6 months of mandatory Project work. The aim of this program to provide skilled and professional training in the diagnosis field of Medical laboratory science. The different specialization of this program trained students in specialized technology which make them efficient to do work in specialized diagnostics and research area. Students are also trained to handle advanced lab equipment and perform accurate diagnostics procedure and their reporting, with great emphasis on Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Students are capable to make their careers in diagnostics, academics, laboratory medicine, R & D sectors, quality control and quality assurance and for being entrepreneurs, by setting up their own laboratory.

Bachelor of Law- LLB (Hons) course familiarizes students intimately with the teaching methodologies and legal research of both national and international characters keeping in view the different types of legal systems, especially in Common Law traditions as well as Civil Law system as practiced in India. It enables students capable of analyzing and examining the economic, cultural and political impact of enacted laws. Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Sciences is an undergraduate 4 years academic program, with 3.5 years of Didactic learning and 6 months of mandatory Internship.The course aims to provide proficient and balanced training in laboratory medicine and diagnosis. It involves the application of different technologies to diagnose and cure diseases. The students become specialized at analysis of body matter such as fluid, tissue and blood, micro-organism screening, chemical analyses, and cell count. Students also learn to handle advanced lab equipment and perform accurate laboratory tests, with great emphasis on Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
