Course Objective

Students majoring in journalism and advertising specializations, enhance, train and sharpen skill sets designed for a versatile career in the field of new media, journalism and creative industries.

Curriculum is a combination of skills courses, where students hone their craft and produce multi-platform content, and concept courses, where students dig into history, theory and issues critical to the profession and practice of journalism.

Master in Business Administration (MBA) is a minimum 2 year full time programme in management. The programme offers options to specialize or earn a major or a minor in a pre-specified functional area. It brings an internationally benchmarked learning context. It primarily aims to help students up to 5 years of experience including fresh graduates, and/or students and with family business background emerge as business managers and leaders.

It is a five year course comprising of ten semesters on completion of which a student earns a graduate degree in law. This course is designed to acquaint a student with the conceptual and operational parameters of general principles of law and its operation in the society. These courses help to understand how central and state governments function and how legislations are enacted and enforced. Apart from the traditional ways like lecture, assignments etc teaching pedagogy will cover up most up-to-date methods such as research, case studies, presentations and discussions.

Course Outcome

• The objective of the course is to impart an integrated knowledge of law and other disciplines including History, Political Science, English etc
• The students get a strong footing for undertaking professional legal education and to have a competitive acumen
• It provides for compulsory practical training and mandatory Moot Court practice

B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) is an undergraduate programme with advanced learning solutions imparting knowledge of advanced innovations like machine learning, often called deep learning and artificial intelligence.

This course is designed to enable students to build intelligent machines, software, or applications with a cutting-edge combination of machine learning, analytics and visualisation technologies. The main goal of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI-ML) is to program computers to use example data or experience to solve a given problem.

If students are interested in coding, probability, statistics, passion for learning new algorithms and developing new ones, then AI-ML would be a good stream for them. This course offers the students a career with exceptional prospective fields and challenging roles in a futuristic industry. The post-graduate course in law is aimed at providing advanced education and training to law graduates. The curriculum is diligently designed to cater to the needs of the students. Currently, School of Law is running LL.M. in three different streams i.e. Corporate and IP Laws, Cyber Laws and Cyber Security and Criminal Law and Criminal Justice.

• The basic agenda of LL.M. is to provide an academically rich atmosphere to the students so as to enable them to gather deeper insight into specific fields of law
• The course intends to prepare the students for academic and research field as well as to foster the professional needs of a law graduate

The event and entertainment domain is global and multi-faceted with various media streams. Hence a global perspective with adequate knowledge of media integration is pivotal. We empower our students with in-depth and applicable knowledge of the Live Media domain. Students who major in Events & Entertainment management enter a variety of careers which include domains like Project Management, Business Development, Wedding Planning, Marketing & Sponsorship, Experiential Marketing, Social & Digital Media, Hospitality & Logistic Management, Production & Operation Management, Artiste Management, Hybrid Event Specialist, Creative Development, Event Visualiser, On-stage & Backstage Management etc.

The Course introduces the students to the vast and dynamic world of Events & Entertainment management. The students are equipped with adequate knowledge and skills to build a strong foundation that provides them with an opportunity to explore various opportunities with Corporates, Event Agencies, PR agencies, Broadcast, Content Producers, OTT Platforms and Advertising Agencies.
