Objectives

• To prepare students with the technical knowledge and skills needed to protect and defend computer systems and networks.
• To develop skills in students that can help them plan, implement, and monitor cyber security mechanisms to ensure the protection of information technology assets.
• To develop students that can identify, analyze, and solve computer security breaches.

M.E Chemical is a two years post graduate program in Chemical Engineering. The students who have completed B.tech or Bachelors in Engineering are eligible for the course. Chemical engineering covers designing as well as maintenance of chemical plants. In this postgraduate program the students study about the application of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Economics with respect to the conversion of chemical forms. The M.E. (Chemical) students are taught subjects like Mathematical and Statistical Methods, Process Optimization, Advanced Separation, Processes Research Methodology, Advanced Transport Phenomena, Advanced Reaction, Engineering, Advanced Thermodynamics etc. Along with the theory, students are also given access to the lab. This course is open to plenty of job opportunities in manufacturing and service industries such as chemicals, plastics, power production, biotechnology, Tyre manufacturing, nanotechnology, mining process, mineral based industries, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, nuclear energy, materials science, and development of new sources of energy.

Electrical Engineering is one of the largest and fastest growing fields which generally deals with the study and application of energy- generation, transmission and distribution, electrical motors and drives, measurement, control and automation. The mission of the department is to offer quality instruction and undertake scholarly research that engages each student in a challenging electrical engineering education and prepares graduates for the full range of career opportunities in the high technology marketplace, enabling them to reach their fullest potential as a professional and as a member of society. It is also one of the most challenging branches with a blend of challenging subjects like Engineering Mathematics, circuit and networks, power system, Control Systems, Power Electronics and drives, Switchgear and Protection, Renewable energy etc.

Electrical Engineering has a wide scope in today’s industrial requirement era as without energy survival of anything is not possible. Due to diversities in industry requirement electrical engineering has been subdivided into various specializations like High Voltage Engineering, Power system engineering, renewable energy and technology, control and automations, power electronics and drives. Each of these fields of Electrical Engineering has its own relevance and role in the industry.

The educational objectives of the Electrical engineering department are to enable graduates to:

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy program shall be under the Faculty of physiotherapy. The name of the Degree program shall be Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or, Bachelor of Physical Therapy) – The Faculty of Physiotherapy is Marwadi University’s foray into creating the finest healthcare professionals for the country. B Pharma full form is Bachelor of Pharmacy. B Pharmcy Course is a 4 years Undergraduate degree program that deals with the process and methods of drug preparation and medicine dispensing.

Also, communications and system engineering are the main driving force behind the latest revolution in information technology. Electronics and Communication research has since reached other fields such as healthcare, instrumentation, robotics, remote sensing, signal processing, etc. Students of communication and system engineering thus have a great deal of application in a number of industries.

Geotechnical Engineering is a special branch of Civil Engineering/Applied Mechanics which focuses on the use of the soil (rocks/boulders/gravel/sand/clay) as an engineering material. The scope is not limited to its use as engineering material but it is also concerned with designing the foundation of structures, stability of the slopes, mining and tunneling. The students pursuing this course study about ideas and various research methods to prevent any damage to tilt/stability of the structure, mitigation of landslides and soil and water pollution. With the increase in infrastructure demand all over the world including India, professionals in Geotechnical Engineering are in high demand in Core companies, MNC consultancy firms, Government sectors, Mining, Road and Bridge construction and in education as well.
