Electrical Engineering is a core and an evergreen branch of Engineering. An Electrical Engineer can focus on skill-based learning in various area of Electricity and its applications, such as generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of energy, Instrumentation & Control, Switch-gear & Automation Engineering, Panel Design Engineering, Energy Management and Audit and most importantly in electrical equipment maintenance and repair field also.

This curriculum is designed in such a way that it can fulfill the following objectives:

• Students will be able to modify, maintain and repair electrical networks and machines for the real-life problems.
• Students will be able to evaluate the technical problem and will be able to suggest cost effective solutions using modern tools and technology.
• Students will be able to apply their skills for the sustained development of industry and society.
• Students will be able to demonstrate professional ethics, good communication and leadership capabilities for continued success enabling him to enjoy the life.

To achieve these diverse objectives, Electrical Engineering Department will strive to identify experienced, committed and dedicated staff who are constantly updating themselves by attending various seminars, workshop as well as interaction with industry and imparting their knowledge amongst the students. The students are also encouraged to convert their conceptual knowledge to practical implementation and the department has laboratories well equipped with state of art technology.

This is a three years course following semester system. In three years, consisting six semesters, each semester will be consisting subjects each with 48 hours of classroom interactions. A typical week will be of FIVE working days and of 30 hours, including classroom teaching, library sessions and other assignments and practicing sessions.

Geotechnical Engineering is a special branch of Civil Engineering/Applied Mechanics which focuses on the use of the soil (rocks/boulders/gravel/sand/clay) as an engineering material. The scope is not limited to its use as engineering material but it is also concerned with designing the foundation of structures, stability of the slopes, mining and tunneling. The students pursuing this course study about ideas and various research methods to prevent any damage to tilt/stability of the structure, mitigation of landslides and soil and water pollution. With the increase in infrastructure demand all over the world including India, professionals in Geotechnical Engineering are in high demand in Core companies, MNC consultancy firms, Government sectors, Mining, Road and Bridge construction and in education as well.

Transportation Engineering is a special branch of Civil Engineering which focuses on the various modes of Transportation that includes road ways, bridges, rail ways, marine ways and air ways. It is involved with analysis and design of the transportation routes for men and material movements. The scope is not limited to only design of the Transportation routes but it also includes design of the signaling, traffic managements as well as pavement materials for Transportations. It is also concerned with developing the new materials for construction of bituminous, concrete roads as well as railway sleepers and run way design. The students pursuing this course study about ideas and various research methods to smooth, safe and fast means of by any mode of Transportation. The tunnels, bridges metro, BRTS, Mono rail with environmental concern etc. are the part and partial of these engineering. Further, it also includes the repair and rehabilitation of the distressed roads, railways and bridges. Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing is a special branch of Mechanical Engineering that employs wide range of computer based tools and techniques assisting engineers in design and manufacturing activities. Geometrical modeling, Engineering analysis, software simulations optimization, validation are some of the well-known concepts involved in the study of computer aided design and manufacturing.

BSc Microbiology is a three-year undergraduate course that comprises the study of microorganisms, this includes various organisms like a unicellular, cluster of microscopic animals, viruses, bacteria, and fungi. This discipline is a key component of the various research in biochemistry and pathology.The Mission of our department is to contribute to the holistic development of students. The primary objective is to provide an educational and research environment in basic and applied concepts of microbiology relevant to the living systems, environment, and industries. Diverse aspects of science and technology will be utilized to impart fundamental knowledge and to solve challenging problems. The preliminary focus of our department will be to acquaint students with the world of microbiology with hands-on practical training on fundamental techniques of microbiology. Our program will encompass theoretical and practical aspects of advances in scientific research along with interactive sessions with subject experts and regular industrial visits. This training will enhance the problem-solving capability of students. Research projects will be an integral part of our course and which will help our students to think out of the box and work in a team.

Bachelor of Science in Physics is an undergraduate three-year (six semesters) degree course that mainly focuses on reasoning, understanding and improving the scientific world through keen and systematic observations. The course mainly deals with providing an in-depth understanding of the concepts and details about how laws of physics work. It offers adequate scope with regard to higher education as well as career. There exist ample master level courses for candidates who are interested in higher education. Apart from this, the candidate can seek career opportunities in Research organizations and other related areas. The higher education after B. Sc Physics increases the proximity to get into a high designation job withrewarding compensation packages.

B.Sc in Chemistry is an undergraduate three-year programme that is divided into six semesters. The programme focuses on topics like Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and more. The science of matter is also concerned with physics. However, chemistry is a more specialised subject.
