The Department of Visual Arts at Mody University keeps its vision to harmonize the society through its most modern art and artists. Painting, Sculpture, Applied, Print, and Graphic design are the core areas of Visual Arts moreover it needs to be treated in the most contemporary manner where a direct bridge can be created to the industry. We at the department teach fine art in such a way that it can serve to masses and not limited to niche segments only. The Digital version of Painting, Sculpture, Applied, and Print plays a very crucial role for the same, our pedagogy follows this pattern while keeping all the classical methodology. For example, painting on canvas may be a single piece and will serve as a limitation whereas on-screen through digital format gives you more freedom to explore and to reach masses.

The complete curriculum is structured in a comprehensive way including topics like Sequential Data Flow and Structural Modelling, Functions, Procedures Attributes, Test Benches, Synthesizable and non-synthesizable statements.

The course is designed to cover all advanced aspects of various sciences’ applications in Forensic Science such as DNA Profiling, Forensic Ballistics, Forensic Medicine and Forensic Anthropology, etc. The course offers the following four specializations,

• Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology
• Questioned Document Examination
• Digital Forensics

Redefining the age-old convention related to the concept that women can’t excel in the field of mechanical engineering, the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering nurtures the Woman Engineers of Tomorrow and makes them seek new knowledge through research, creative design and development, and with the construction and management of the devices and systems needed by the emerging society.

Psychology is one of the important disciplines in the area of behavioral sciences. It is the scientific study of human behavior. In the present era of stress and change, there has been a rapid increase in the demand of professionals in the various fields of Psychology. Considering such requirements, the postgraduate programme in Psychology aims to create experts in the fields of Guidance and Counselling Psychology as well as in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Specialization in Clinical Psychology is also offered.

M.Des. Fashion Design is a two-year postgraduate program, designed for aspirants to gain in-depth knowledge about the world of fashion and explore its economic, ethical, social, ecological, and cultural aspects. The course focuses on the application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories and creating products as per the global fashion needs.

MBA Integrated is a five-year integrated management program. This course provides an Undergraduate degree after three years followed by a Master’s degree after two years. It offers a unique integrated program that equips an individual with both a Bachelor’s Degree as well as a Master’s Degree in Management. The intensive curriculum not only develops management skills in students but also shapes up their overall personality suited to the challenges of the global business scenario.

An Economics undergraduate can understand the complexities in the working of the economy. It provides a sound theoretical basis in economic theory supplemented by practical applications. Future Prospects: B.A. in economics opens doors to a range of career options, not only in business but also in consulting. The program prepares students to undertake careers in the banking and insurance sector, teaching, and research, international agencies, multinational corporations, civil services, as economic analysts in the financial sector and postgraduate studies in economics, business and public administration, teaching and research, etc.

The program inculcates an in-depth knowledge of the widespread fashion design process and helps the students to acquire cutting-edge skills to provide impactful design solutions to the perpetually evolving Apparel Industry. The dynamic design pedagogy & able guidance of experts help students to strengthen their awareness of the fashion clothing industry & identify the domain and function where they can contribute the most.

The course equips the students with the methodical understanding of form, material & technologies to provide sustainable design solutions and endorse the idea of originality. The learning environment provides opportunities to communicate their artistic expression & experimentation through clothing. It also encourages each and every student to access & nurture her own natural sense of flair & creativity.
