Ph.D. in Design, Fashion & Merchandising aims to impart knowledge about the nature of design research, especially in relation to the responsible role of designers in propelling our society towards a more sustainable future. This programme covers English literary studies, theories, criticism, and pedagogy, all in the form of theory. This degree gives students the opportunity to study various fields of world literature. An M.A. in English is a great option for both local and international students. A Master's degree in English Literature is a notch higher than any other traditional degree that focuses on an in-depth study of different genres of literature. On completion of the course, a student is expected to be able to expertly analyze a work of literature in its historical, cultural, political, and philosophical context. Fashion Design is a two-year postgraduate program, designed for aspirants to gain in-depth knowledge about the world of fashion and explore its economic, ethical, social, ecological, and cultural aspects. The course focuses on the application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories and creating products as per the global fashion needs.

Redefining the age-old convention related to the concept that women can’t excel in the field of mechanical engineering, the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering nurtures the Woman Engineers of Tomorrow and makes them seek new knowledge through research, creative design and development, and with the construction and management of the devices and systems needed by the emerging society.

The M.Sc. (Biotechnology) is a fusion of science, medicine, and engineering. It focuses on biology and chemistry along with principles of genetics, microbiology, cellular biology, process design, genetic engineering, and their applications in healthcare or food production. This program prepares the students for biotechnology careers by encompassing a broad range of subjects. Along with the assurance of the competency of the necessary knowledge, the course work fosters problem-solving and critical thinking skills which prepare the student to take on various design and engineering challenges. The field of biotechnology uses living organisms to generate controlled processes or their final products.
